  1. Yer bring it along. I'm not really a light beer drinkier but seeing most are driving it should go down well for the takers! Thanks, Sulio
  2. Ash made up a set of flares and rear fin as per originals. Very good fit. Sulio
  3. Hi Mick74, Would you say the Air Bleed Resize would still be 0.9mm for DHLA40 L's? I believe you have DHLA40 H carbs as does Mike? Thanks, Sulio
  4. Next meeting: 2nd April 2008 Wednesday 6:30pm to 9;30 pm ish AusZcar Meeting, BBQ as per calendar. Location is 5 / 54 Howleys Rd, Notting Hill. As usual on the night we will have BBQ provided with soft drinks. I have finished the Tassie Tour Video and hopefully we can play the 1:10 version on the night if Craig is happy to do so. We can also finalise all details for the up coming Phillip Island Overnight cruise, (Sat 19 & Sun 20 April 08). All members welcome to attend. See you there! Cheers, Sulio
  5. From the album: 2007 Miscelleneous

Bolted the tripples on to the dirty L28 recently installed and started the car. To my surprise the car started instantly and idled fine although I think it's running rich.
  6. Unique job and I reckon it works on this car. What do you think! http://au.youtube.com/user/coyotegary Sulio
  7. I bought these used from an Italian fella that sell them on e-bay. All up the set up has cost me about $1100.00 to date that is with carbs, manifold, linkage kit, soft mounts, trumpets. However, from my understanding you can spend that much quite easily on proper dyno tuning once installed. Thanks David, Yer well I have them running from the mechanical pump. I've noticed some time ago I also have a fueflow sensor inline between the pump and carbs. I do not believe it's a factory item so most likely remove it. It regards to the small fitting I noticed it and I've plugged the reurn line. I'll look up the Italian fella for that lst fitting. Yer they do sound pretty good. Scare small children away! Thestrutt bar clear easily as the carbs sit lower than the SU's. Cheers, Sulio
  8. Well it's been some time but finally got a chance to install my tripples. To my surprise once installed they started and idled with no adjustments. Took the car for a spin and found it smoked more than usual and sounded like it was running rich. Photo below of my dirty engine bay. Disregard all the tempararily blocked off lines. Next move is to remove the A/C and all the unecassary piping in the engine bayy to clean the motor up a bit and have a go at tuning the carbs. Oh definately need to change the dodgy flexible Lynx rose joints.

ah thanks for the fix there Lurch, so now he can run his Z on the local restaraunts used cooking oil like this for prolly 10 or 20 cents a litre if that!!!!!! Every time you fire up the car you smell fish and chips! http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=GOFbsaNeZps
  10. yer you can cook a sausage whilst you're driving just need to keep bread and sauce in the car, reach down when hungry and have a hot dog on the go. Thats what side pipes were originally designed for, really geared for the US market. Wow cool pics Gav, are they yours? Looks like they've taken ages to build, alot of detail. Thats basically your exhast anyhow. Sulio
  11. I like bumping this thread. A nice pic below. Three Z's in the mountains, looks like fun.

  16. hehe, just checking to see what else Evan is selling of his car, always good to have spares. hmmm...actually Gav theres some nice straight panels I could stick under my house for spares on your beast. Better off selling them cheap to me than letting them corrode away in the garage! :D

  23. offset looks bad, you need much more negative offset to fi them without rubbing strutt perch's. ie 16x8.5 -6 and 16x9.5 -19
