    Wow that looks factory!
  6. I've read that different length velocity stacks on triple carbs can change the power band. I'm thinking of using the Ramflo filters I have in a cupboard on my triple Delorotos. Do people usually have the velocity stacks under filters or just bolt on the filter and housing?
  7. This pic shows standard ZG flares on a 16x10 (I think -26 offset) wheel made by the same company Performance wheels. It's hard to see in this pic but they did stick out past the flare lip by about 10mm.
  8. Just had another thought, seeing the 16x10 are -26mm and the Wats for ZG's are usually in the 16x9.5 -19mm the Superlites would stick out 13.35mm more than the normal Watanabe ZG configuration. My wheels are 9.5" wide -19 and they sit at the lip of the ZG flares at the rear so you would need wider flares to fit the rear 10" superlites assuming they don't rub the stock spring perch on the inside which I dont believe they would. Watanabe 16x9.5 -19mm, distance of outer rim lip, (or close to as I don't think they include the lip when measured), to the flat of the rim that mounts to the hub would be 139.65mm. Superlites 16x10 -26mm, distance of outer rim lip to the flat of the rim that mounts to the hub would be 153mm. ...anyhow you probably not looking at this size wheels but just sharing some thoughts. Sulio
  9. This would be an interesting combo with ZG flares. 16x8 - offset 4mm -ve and 16x10 0 offset 26mm -ve ...only thing is I bet you would have to get the extra wide flares to fit the 16x10 in at the rear. I'm pretty sure Ash's race car has 16x10 Challenger wheels made by Performance wheels and the normal flares did'nt cover them. Can someone buy them so we can all find out!?

    Very neat
  11. Ah I am glad to say I have just recieved my carbs. They look very clean just as in the photo. It looks like they have been overhauled as they all have new springs and some of the little screws apppear to be new also. Packaging was excellent and with each carb seperatley wrapped in plastic glad wrap type and then partitioned with foam in the box. Todate great service from this guy. Time to buy a manifold and linkage kit and start doing my head in!
  12. Oh and forgot to mention the Redline model is listed for $325.00 at Autobarn in Dandenong which is a much better price than the Gemparts model on offer. They must be trying to pitch them to the US market at the price they are asking. I might just buy the redline manifold. I've heard their linkage kit is a bit ordinary though. I'm pretty sure there is a place you can buy all the components like PTFE ball joints and rods from and make your own. Any ideas on where sucha supplier might be? One bloke told me go to a RC model shop for these parts!? I know that Jap site "Kimaeri" (not sure of spelling) sells them but pretty dear. Sulio
  13. Oh Guys now you've done it. You know that you've mentioned pulling the glass it's gonna be hard for Warren to get a good nights sleep trying not to think about the rust boogey man Can't wait to see the car back on the road mate. Did you keep the reg going all this time?
  14. Brands I am aware of to date are SK, TWM, Lynx, Canon, Mikuni, Pearce and the Aussie Redline.
  15. Hi Jim, Welcome. Be sure to post some pics of your car in the galleries for all to check! Cheers, Sulio
  16. Yer last time I enquired with the Performance wheels factory they had them in 16x7 and I'm pretty sure the rep said 16x8 with 16x10 on the way. That was one year ago. I always thought it would look nice to fir the 16x7 at the front with 205 tyres and a 16x8 at the rear with a 225 tyres. I reckon the rear would be a tight fit but would look nice with a bit of dish. Good luck with your final choice and do keep us posted!
  17. Sweet thanks mate.
  18. Hi Guys, I've got headers on my L26 I think E88 head. I've got an L28 with N42/N42 combo sitting at my folks place. Every time I drop in I forget to check if the exhaust ports are square as I've heard on prior occasions. My current headers are the round type. Will I have to source different headers for the N42 head?
  19. yer I've seen them both. Gem parts one is a bit of a rip I reckon.
  20. why not go for the 16" superlites?
  21. Sound was fine for me. That is the live movie I'm talking about.
  22. yer i did notice a car at the end, funny though I'm sure that car at the end at the shop was a 260z 2 seater!?
  23. Yer noticed episode two of the anime was ready. Your right Ben the live movie I just down loaded is not sub-titled and the last scene is pretty good, he's really caning it through a mountain hwy. Some odd adds in the end also. I've just skipped through it all at this stage. If anybody here can translate that film and write it down I would be glad to add the English subtitles!? Any body get any Japanese speaking friends?
  24. Apart from Redline who esle supplies triple carb manifolds in Australia? Sulio
  25. AH yes found the full live movie soon after the porn finished it's 20 second count down, 657MB. I'm at 70% download will be interesting to see if it's sub titled!?
