    Hah, yes I saw follow up photos of a LHD car. So may be a false alarm. It's been a while since I found a sub 100 chassis no. HS30. So jumped the gun a bit and got excited.

    Yes I agree. Clapped out 40+ year old ignition systems vs programmable ignition curves whilst still running carbs etc.. sounds good to me.

    Thanks guys, these posts are automatic. Based on new listings as they appear on Gumtree. Sadly no way for me to do the same for Gumtree or Carsales. I'm glad it's taken down. I usually report these when I see them so that eBay will take action.

    So this project hasn't stalled, although I'm not sure if this passenger door and spare skin will be used on this car or my red 72 240z yet. Since these are spares I picked up, I am partially inclined to use a rare spares skin, given the condition of this 1, but I figured repairing it or attempting to is a good learning process in itself and OEM skins always fit better than aftermarket which need rejigging. I did discover bog in both the passenger door and driver door skin, I managed to get most of it out and heat shrink the rest so only a small amount of filler will be required. I may need to lead fill the passenger door because of pin holes and the amount of pitting that was present at the bottom.

    Gordo, my FD RX-7 shat a water seal, I was annoyed, and of course everyone bitches about the rotary engine. But honestly I've seen as many LS failures also. It happens. I haven't pulled my 13b motor out, the FD gets to sit there all sad for now. Until I've got my own workshop / place to work on it. I must say, the L-series has never let me down..

    It says Crow Cams on it, not sure on specs. But why do you want to replace it, have you confirmed you've worn the cam lobes? You'll also probably want to resurface the rocker arms if that's the case?
