As far as I know the Skyline was available with an L20. However I've not seen them with a 4 banger. This car wouldn't be a GTR as the only car that can be called that would have to be stamped KPGC10. I tried to put together that blog post about chassis numbers but even that is still not complete and doesn't cover all the Japanese models. I agree the different levels of trim for the S30 in the JDM market means that certain cars were worth more new than others and as a result hold different values in the collector car market today. My friends brother owned a TA22 Celica that he put a Turbo 2TG I think it was into it. I really liked the look of the car was sad to see he sold it off in the end. I never got to drive it, but always wanted to compare it with the S30 to see what it was like. A friend of mine wanted an RA28 aka 'Mustang Back' but when he went to sit in the car discovered he was a bit tall for it. I would like to get myself a TA22 someday with Twin Mikuni's on it .
