Locky if you speak with him again, can you ask him if he still has any photos of it from the time he owned it? If anything that would certainly add a lot of interest to this thread I think. It sounds like it was modified, but anymore info we can get about it such as original colour? And perhaps there would be some interesting details in those photos? It would be interesting if you could find out the name of the person who purchased it down the Mornington Peninsula way. Speaking with Len Brennan a little while back on the phone he told me "you wouldn't believe what some of these farmers have in their sheds". There is a good chance it is still around... We can only hope.

Ok not sure when I'll next be in Melbourne but would be interested in getting these done... Do you know approx cost of getting this done? Some mounts are still available new and not too expensive from Nissan.

What other items are you going to get redone? I have a couple of spare mounts in my collection back in Melbourne I could dig out. How about engine mounts? Dif? Gearbox?

New years bump, haven't had all that much interest in anything other than the beaver panel. I may have found a car with a good beaver panel section so not sure yet if I'm going to order this in for myself. Will know later this week. However figured I'd bump this up and bring it to people's attention.

I've replaced the 3 secondary gauges in the dash of my 240z and found that there is no issue fitting the gauges. I've never had to replace the tach or speedo so can't comment on those. But how often do they need to be removed? Be thankful we have a local option, in the US the company that does the same work charges $1,700 USD going by Facebook discussions. My 240z has been left in the sun and the dashboard was done before the year 2000 (previous owner had it done). I generally like to put a screen in the front window to protect from the sun if left parked outside and the car has been garaged for the past 7 years anyway, but the repair seems very good to me. Any chance to show off my dash haha.

I think someone is just stirring the pot to get a rise out of Bozo. If Locky's logic applied to houses dilapidated dumps in Sydney wouldn't be selling for a median price of 1M.

If your car is not performing as expected I don't think fitting those extractors will help. Who built your engine and why are you so sure of it's specs? It seems if it doesn't perform as expected the parts in it may not be as described? Just a thought.

As a last resort I'll do that. It would be far easier to find an uncut 1 however. Thanks, no rush. I have been told however they are different between 240z/260z. So interested to see your feedback.

Have you got a photo of it mate? The pedal on mine is also welded onto the assembly.
