  1. I started to, but I never wore my digital watch so kind of gave up on the idea, my step dad likes the watch though. It was an Android based watch.
  2. Yes Webers were an optional part for S20 engined cars. I believe you would need a parts catalogue for the GTR's or PS30's to see it though. I was trying to find it last night. @HS30-H can no doubt confirm as I believe he runs them on his S20 powered car
  3. haha I was gonna say if you blokes want to go on about time pieces, then should be talking about the Rally Clocks :D
  4. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1970-datsun-240z-22/ Early 240z which is relatively original and solid looking 905 Monte Carlo Red. Early features such as 2400 OHC cover and E31 head etc.. Already at $5k USD.
  5. Haha forgot about that ad.
  6. It was in roughish shape when I sold it to you, have you since restored it?
  7. No all our fuel lids were lockable.
  8. It's a "ura" Mach Wheel, which was a sports option part. Often seen in Z432-R's. I was watching it last night when it was priced around $900 USD, I don't know if it actually sold at that price. Or if it's real or a clone/reproduction? The hub kit with horn assembly is around $300 USD on it's own (reproduction). It's possible it didn't meet reserve and I've noticed Yahoo! Auctions sometimes shows the price after auction as the reserve price (or some inflated buy it now price). However these have been changing hands many years ago for $3000 or so.. (originals) but reproductions have since become available. I've got a black reproduction. Still need to get the Hub assembly and horn for it.

  10. Looking better than it has in a long time!
  11. Early Safari Gold S30Z https://losangeles.craigslist.org/wst/cto/d/datsun-240zdatsun-280z/6614616209.html
  12. Lachlan, how do you deal with the deeper pitting on the bonnet?
  13. Well that was unexpected.. 493,000 yen. Must have been the Real McCoy perhaps? https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/v559621653
  14. Mark Natoli is my old Tafe teacher. http://natolipanelcreations.com.au All the good ones are semi retired.
  15. Good for steel wheels!
  16. Are the cheap ones any good? The 1 I have at Tafe is about $2k worth.
  17. Good point, in fact I plan to move the whole site to a new domain soon also. But part of getting there was migrating away from the other software. Just to make life simpler. My only concern is managing redirects from old URLs to the new ones properly. Nothing worse than trying to follow broken links.
  18. @PB260Z if you're able to make it work on your trip without too much hassle I am happy to do that. We can discuss over PM further.
  19. Cool adventure. I did a similar journey in a Ford Fiesta, not quite the same. haha.
  20. Jason try the custom activity stream option. Got to Activity Menu -> My Activity Streams -> Create new stream. You'll see options such as these.
  21. You'll be better as this than I soon!
  22. Yes it can be repaired but definitely a little tricky with limited access to the rear side. You could get an easy beat to help pull out the dents, then I'd look at a slapper, but you need to get the dolly behind the panel. I would not use a shrinking disc as I made a balls of it on my bonnet. However sometimes the only way to learn is through making mistakes.
  23. Perhaps gives me some time to try and get the white car ready! But a bit of a stretch admittedly.
  24. Agree, I find Facebook very superfluous and ephemeral. Hence why I'm committed to being invested in the traditional forum. After all who wants to answer the same question 100x? Or see another valve cover discussion!
  25. Yes I manage the hosting, the company provides a pretty good set up on the plan we have. I haven't moved across to cloud yet. Costs are relatively high, but the way I see it I'm competing with Facebook these days. Lots of other forums have died because of Facebook. So the user experience here has to be good and part of that is making it easy to upload photos.
