  3. Which part of slicing open your knuckles don't you like?
  4. Feature, not a bug. I am fairly certain they are fiberglass rings. Which a few people have told me they are not happy with. I've not seen them in person to validate.
  5. I know someone is working on reproductions like OEM, guide price is around $700 usd for the chrome rings + perspex covers. Not sure when it will hit the market yet?
  6. Trademe.co.nz newsletter I received today.
  7. Late 260z 2 seater door trims. (won't work on 74/75 (specific month)) cars. https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/u211480379
  8. These are not done, waiting on final invoice and will ship them back. May cost more than indicated above, with new GST charges and shipping costs + $AUD vs $USD movements.
  9. Yeah a while ago I posted this video. I think it has a 3.0L L28 in it.
  10. I don't think it's in Picton yet, I think it's still in Northern NSW. No tags is ok, can get the DATSUN plate remade, the chassis no. is important bit. Depending on year you may need a compliance plate also. Wonder if it has the original L24 still?
  11. Potential HS30 spotted in Hong Kong. Could have been an ex-AU market car too!

  13. The MCM boys do cross promotions a lot and receive an income via YouTube based on subscribers and audience. They came into Google once and I listened to their talk about wanting to control the way they advertised products. A lot of companies would approach them wanting to control the message and how it was done, but they said they didn't like that and preferred to create their own way of doing it. The example they gave was the survive a zombie apocalypse episode. Where they plugged a PlayStation Game. Marty is quite introverted in person where as Blair was much more extrovert. Second time they came into work I could hear a ruckus in the basement they had brought in a Subaru on E85 which made a racket in the car park lol. Sadly I've never had my cars in when they have come into the office to show them. Think seeing another white S30z would spin them out a bit.
  14. Hi Guys, I have my rear 1/4 panels (picked them up Friday). Sold Payment Received. https://photos.app.goo.gl/QrfuS2t9bWo71wHk6 I was originally going to keep the LH (passenger side) but should have secured a NOS panel now. So both are now up for sale. Looking for $1,300 for each side (cheaper price here for Auszcar members and for donating members may offer further discount). Will advertise elsewhere also, but at a higher price. I've taken plenty of photos, I suspect the drivers side dog leg has a section with a small amount of body filler in it (indicated by my hand in the photos). Otherwise I think they are pretty good, just surface rust on the side (which is why they rust out, especially in the wheel arch sections). There is a couple of dings and dents on the passenger side in particular (hard to photograph), but nothing that would phase a good panel beater. Both sides have small drill holes in the rear from what looks like a 3 piece rear wing spoiler. I've annotated some of the images to give a sense of issues etc.. I *might* be able to bring to Melbourne with me in August (heading down for a friends wedding) but would rather not lug them half way down the coast if I can avoid it.
  15. The trials and tribulations of a build is what keeps it real. Nothing goes to plan we all know that.
  16. You're the light master, you should be stocking these!
  17. Yeah the point of the others I posted is your retain the clear parkers, but gain the amber turn signal.
  18. I believe it was an option provided in the US of A. Never seen 1 here (thankfully)
  19. The S30Z is the Air Cooled 911 for the masses. Much more affordable. Good thing about that video is I learnt something about Tig welding. Car sounds good, Triples on an L-series = magic.
  20. Could work, but all the items I need are with different sellers. If I could find someone with all those parts it would simplify things. Hence trying local first.
  21. I found quite a few on eBay US, but trying to save on postage cost and buy locally. I've asked Ashley @zr240 at Moorabbin Auto Spares to have a look. Your car would probably benefit from "new" items. I'm looking to "survivor" category items with a little patina. But will buy new if price difference is negligible.
  22. Might Car Mods 240z* Registration. *These sausages have got me calling it a 240z now... Ughhhh. Fairlady Z (S30). I cringed a little when they said 1975 model 240z on the phone to Shannon's.
  23. Quick bump new items on the list.
  24. Hey guys, This could be a good solution for those who like their clear turn signals on their 240z's but want to have them light up amber when indicating (Parker's remain clear). https://www.bettercarlighting.co.uk/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=654
