    I've always loved this colour on S30Z's. I recall seeing a 260z 2+2 in this shade many years ago. Really a great colour, glad to hear you have your old early red 240z back. Seeing an early 71 240z in the US (with L28 and some custom mods) go for $40k USD recently, makes me think cars like this are undervalued personally.

The colour is still listed on the 'British Standard' database as B.S. 18C39, with HMG ( Her Majesty's Government ) Glidden number GL31557, and Glidden number name 'Dolphin Blue'.

    It's funny where things end up.. I spent the afternoon removing 40 years of crud off it. Turns freely by hand and cam lobe (under oil cap) looks clean. So it's probably a runner. Need to paint it and replate all the hardwsre, then I plan to shove it in #150 for some giggles. Thanks @JDM-TOYfor the home delivery and @George for not scrapping it.
