hey guys, i thought i would post my l28et build makes 450hp/720nm i think the head ran out of flow we try adding more boost it didnt do anything. The tuner said the rear housing is 2 small ".83"or the head won't flow no more l28 block F54 stock l28 crank, spool rods. bored out to 88.5mm with kameari forged pistons , kameari damper p90 head 2mm mls headgasket the head been shaved two or 3 times head is pretty stock apart from a very small port and polish, cooling mod and heavy duty valve springs kelford 225lb the cam is a stock cam been grind to a sports cam has all the new efi stuff haltech 750, cas, ls1 coils, 1000cc injectors e85, g30-900 im looking at maybe porting the head abit more and installing a cam to see if it can hit the 500 hp any advice would be appreciate

Late last year the folks moved house, and so did the Zed. A fair bit of time and effort has gone into setting up the shed at the new place, but I've still had a bit of time to get a few things done. The plus side is that I've moved back to Brisbane, and the Zed is now a bit closer than it previously was so I'm hoping I'll be able to make some good progress and get it back on the road this year. The next step is to get the engine all put back together and get it running and driving so that I can drive it on and off the trailer to get the interior work completed (I'm not going to do this myself). If anyone has any good recommendations for interior work in Brisbane please let me know! I bought a full interior kit from the Z Car Source in the US to make this part of the process easier. Engine work completed since last update: Carbs and intake stripped and vapour blasted along with the valve cover Carbs rebuilt and reinstalled - need to finalise the vacuum lines. The balance tube is off an L28 so has a lot of emissions ports that are not required Fuel rail cleaned up Bluetooth 123 Tune+ Distributor and new ignition leads Next step is to finish off the fuel system, the vacuum lines on the intake, hook up the engine bay wiring with a new battery and see if it starts!

As you are posting in an AUSTRALIAN forum, I'm not sure how much we can help being on the other side of the world... Google radiator repair services in your area for your radiator - they should be able to clean out your gas tank for you as well.

I used sellys contact adhesive from a tube. Gave it overnight to completely set and it was good to go.

Haven't updated here in a while, but another item I've wanted for 20+ years now is a set of Watanabe RS Wheels. I found 3x 15x8+0 wheels on the Gold Coast. At a fair price, but still need to ship them down and either buy another pair from Watanabe or if they sell a single wheel buy that to match. The 4th was destroyed on a bad pot hole not long after the last owner bought them, so tyres have like 2,000 KMS on them. I'm not a fan of the polished alloy look of them, so they will need to be gunmetal / magnesium colour - which is just the perfect colour for them IMHO. Plan is to fit them to the red 240z and I will move the Superlites on it to my white 240z to help get that car roadworthy. And that way I can take my time restoring the rare Fuji Auto Cobras on it (which I might restore and change to 15x8 also - if feasible). I am curious to weigh the difference between the Superlites and the Watanabes. Will report back when I do. It will be strange to see the car with different wheels after all these years too. I bought the car late in 2002. So it is literally 20 years of ownership this year. I also started dating my now wife at the same time. And it's nice to see some continuity over the years of photos I've accumulated with it. But I enjoy checking off bucket list parts for my cars and this is a purchase I probably put off for too long!
