  1. Sean Dezart (as ever, on the ball... ) is simply repeating somebody else's ballpark guess as though it is gospel. Price is 'POA' and I think it will be much more than that.

  4. What do you think of that POR15 rust treatment paint? Might be good to use on large areas of surface rust. Apparently it's really effective, people painting whole chassis in it, etc. I'm making progress on my 2+2, doing the spare wheel well at the moment but it's just so bloody hot in Melbourne I'm waiting til later in the day to work.

Im in the middle of doing an RB25 into 260z 2+2. I tried for ages to find the sump Gav is talking about but they are becoming quite hard to come by! I ended up using a Nissan patrol sump as the bulge is at the opposite end. Just needs to have a little bit cut out to make it a slimmer profile and then the oil pick up shortened to suit.

  6. Z carpets take 2…I just spoke to Rob at z factory and he has some carpets for me. Let’s see if we can get this last piece in place. Once they arrive, then my new rear windscreen, we are pretty much home and hosed.

  7. got the roof frame final test fitted and checked with the hatch for fit. Time for welding. Plan is to then fit and weld the roof skin then tackle the inner guard rust one side at a time.
