RB25 conversion excess parts (R33 and 240Z)...oh, and a MIG welder!

Righto lads

 

A few parts need to go as a result of my conversion:

 

1. R33 Skyline Brake booster, master cylinder and pedal box assembly

 

2. R33 Skyline Clutch master cylinder and pedal box assembly

 

3. R33 Skyline standard turbocharger assm

 

4. Corbeau GT8 racing seat...fair condition, but would be great if you want a race seat

 

5. 240Z 3 core copper brass radiator...good functional condition, but a tidy up would make it spot on...core is fine as are tanks

 

6. R33 Skyline radiator assembly in good condition

 

7. UniMig 180Amp mig welder...works quite OK, fine for panels and up to 8mm construction work. Best with mild steel wire (vs Alum or stainless)

 

8. ZR200 sump and pickup for RB conversion into S30 chassis.

I'm in need of a MIG, not having much luck scrawling through eBay and gumtree over the last months.

 

What are you roughly after for it? If you can give me a weight/rough dimensions I'll get a postage quote and hopefully it won't be too much... If you're keen to go through the hassle of postage, that is.

Simon: An Adelaide member has asked for a freight price on the welder, so I'll give him first right of refusal on it, but if he is not keen on the freight charge, it's over to you...will let you know in the next day or three.

 

St_Mok: If you're doing an RB26DETT, you will need to ditch the cast aluminium sump and go with the ZR200 (has the rear bowl to clear the cross member). I will take what i paid for it ($300).

 

1600Dave: The GT8 seat is yours for $80...note the cloth is worn, but the cushions and bolsters are fine. It's configured for 5 point belts.

 

Also....there are a few other bits:

 

A. Greddy (Chinese copy) of a forward facing log-style inlet manifold for an RB25...never been used, but it's Chinese quality, not Japanese! $130

 

B. Genuine Nismo R31 Skyline competition Exhaust header manifold (think Peter Jackon Skyline race cars)...this is the real deal, and collectors item these days.

 

C. Tial external 44mm waste gate. Brand new, never used. $250

Gents...for clarification, the manifold is a Nismo R31 Skyline GTS-R factory manifold...one of the ones that came out on the 800 factory R31's for Grp A homologation.

Looks like a nice seat and the price is right, its just not quite what I was expecting  :'( I'm after one for a Group Sb Fairlady racer and was hoping yours would look like this

Fussy, I know, but I'd rather hang out and get something that suits the car perfectly (or that I think suits it anyway), especially being a convertible with the seats on display.

Hey Nato...you beat me to it! The sump is sold to the SA king of custom RB sumps!

 

Mars...the radiator is yours for $100...let me know.

 

Brabham...a ZR200 sump will indeed fit an RB30.

How much are your sumps ?and what material are they going to be made out of?
