WogsRus Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 Actually if your going to use cad, better use something like Mechanical Desktop so you can then use a 5 axis CNC to do the badges. Alternativally, if somone send a good one in, i can sand cast them at dad's work, in ally, brass, bronze or iron. We would have to make some good blanks first Quote
chris240 Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 hmmm I cant draw 3d...Im not good on revitt. Architectural autocad in 2d , no probs. Quote

NZeder Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 I am in Melbourne again next week (Monday, Tuesday nights only flying out Wednesday) so I will bring a badge with me. That way I can post within Australia. So which CAD guy do I send it to? Or I will send it to Lurch and once it is all sorted he can forward to the CAD guy to get dimensions from etc. Quote
C.A.R. Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 I now have in my possession a pair of orig. 'FairladyZ' badges courtesy of Mike (NZeder). Who do I send them too, to get copied? Quote
Moderators Zedman240® Posted November 30, 2009 Moderators Posted November 30, 2009 You can send them to me but I won't be able to copy them...just install them. Quote
NZeder Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 Now cut that out they are still mine. Just on loan - ie they are boomerangs Quote
S30Mike Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 I would love a set of 3 copies of the "Fairlady Z" badges when available please! Quote
RB30X Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 I bet there's a long line of people who want a few of these once completed. Quote
chris240 Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 Ok Lurcho's send them up and I'll cad them up... you should still have my address. once we have them as a dwg file from there we have some options to convert to other files if need be. Quote
Add Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 Fairlaidy badges would be awesome also, just wondering if you still intend on doing the 2-seater C-Pillar badges. Cheers, Add Quote
C.A.R. Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 Chris, PM your address. I deleted it for security reasons. Quote
