Now if I were young and had the energy to play that hard ya it would be fun, looks like age has tamed me a bit... really happy to see this site out there nothing like it in the States you all really know what a real ride is.. so I'm looking to sell this hot little Z with the 351 Windsor, 4 speed, white with blue pearl, perfect interior built to run w/ford engine all reinforced and retire with one last 240 I will restore just for me want the front end on the ground.. I had quite some difficulty in making an interpretation of what he was trying say, then at the end says he's selling his Zed From the US on an Australian site no less... I welcome all new users to this forum from where ever they are, but making posts like the above just isn't the way to do it. If you wish to discuss this further Peter, I'm all ears P.S. sexual_sushi Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 from what i hear, this is what killed the qld forum (before my time). people get on and start ripping on other people and other people saying you cant do that to z, y would u put an rb in it you w@nk@r etc. im the same. lurch i respect your contribution and im fine with your posts now i know who are are, but i was reading a few of your comments a few months back, before i knew, and i was like holly sh!t this guys giving it to him! i usually think your posts are correct or funny or both but they are often very blunt. i just think this should be a friendly place for people with z's to come and talk about their cars no matter what they have or how they say it. i have just read a lot of posts in the last couple of months that would have put me right off viczcar if i had read them in the beginning, it is even putting me off a little now. this is the best aus resource for z cars and more members posting more regularly can only be in the interest of the cars and the clubs. i think getting caught up on punctuation and grammar is the least of our worries, this is a forum and not a publication after all. if they post something and you can understand 50% of it, you're probably doing better than most of the other sh!t on the internet. He didn't use the For Sale Template. 2.) He didn't mention that the car would require shipping to the US or what price for Australian residents. He obviously wants to flog a car and is post whoring every zcar website out there. This is common practice, I've seen it many times. (Of course I may be wrong here, but this is what it looks like to me). I think perhaps a little more tact would have been nice. However if someone joins this website they should take the time to read our forum rules and sticky threads. Quote
