dat240z Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 I wonder who was responsible for destroying that 240z. Quote
George Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 Has been on the market for a long time. Will remain on the market for a longer time. Quote

d3c0y Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 I knew one of the owners of that car back in 2002, it was a mint car back then. Not exactly super fast but yeah back in the day someone had spent a lot of money on it. It would probably be worth more in japan with the pantera hatch mod... Quote

PeterAllen Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 i guess anything that looks like a ferrari catches fire too :/ bit of a waste of a good zed not to mention a stupid motor swap choice That car, like most 250 GTOs, was built (or started) about 15-20 years ago when there were plenty of tired Zeds about and you could pick up a runner for $500. I do agree entirely about the engine choice. Quote
Administrators gav240z Posted January 9, 2014 Author Administrators Posted January 9, 2014 That car has my roof skin. Shame about the fire.. Quote

George Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Looks like a good pick up, depending on complete price, for someone. Some good bits in there. Quote
George Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Photos up now. Always sad to see projects being sold off. Quote
G Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 That guy looking to put an RB in a z should consider this car if he can get the added bits for the right price. There's a lot of expensive bits there and it could be money well saved... Quote

It wasn't classified as a write off, so I'm guessing someone wants to build a replica and views this as a cheap way to do it? There isn't much that could be salvaged to make it a Z again. Maybe I should turn the Safari Gold car into a Ferrari replica, might be worth more that way eh? Quote
