aussie240z
It was great to catch up albeit briefly and sans zed at the Scarborough pub today. As was mentioned during that catch up, I just bought a new screen for the zed (due to the crappy roll over and crush on the a pillar) and bought from these guys http://www.autoglasswarehouse.com.au/datsun-260z-2dr-coupe-1971-1978-front Ex stock, ordered online Thursday, picked up Friday at their ops at Riverwood. The guy I dealt with in Brisbane (he called me within 30 minutes of placing the order) and advised pick up etc. Very easy purchase, pick up and they also do some other items, side/door glass as noted here http://www.autoglasswarehouse.com.au/240z-260z-s30-2-dr-coupe-1971-to-1978-240z-260z-s3/ All seemed pretty easy. Cozza
Nice pic Peter. In regards to windscreens http://www.motorsportwindscreens.com.au do heated front screens. There was a thread on Ozdat raising interest for a run of 1600 heated front screens for $685 http://ozdat.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=34298&hilit=Heated+screen I understand they needed a minimum number of orders before they did the run but not sure what that magic number was or if Z screens are in stock??? For a z without A/C it's a good option for defogging the screen. Nice to see some old and meet some new Z'rs today, shame I was late and missed others. Was a nice day for a drive though. shaun240
Thanks John for organising the long awaited drive day, it was great to see some zeds out!! Mike, I will get the footage together and upload a small video when I get a chance this week (apologies in advance for the amateur footage - it was the first time I have used the go pro). Here are a few more photos from the initial meet at Loftus. sydney mike

Zedhead70
Really enjoyable drive even if it meant leaving home at the crack of dawn and breakfast at 5.30! Very nice group of cars and drivers, one benefit of being in the lead was watching the 240/260 tail flowing through the bends of the Royal National Park even at the speed limit and under. The venue of the Scarborough Hotel was excellent with a passing parade of other classics on a Sunday drive and a plethora of open exhaust bikes (maybe I'm showing my age there!) excellent lunch with Mike and Ian, thoroughly enjoyed everyone's company. I'll definitely be doing more of these and might even be able to bring a 260 for a run, shoulder permitting. I will keep everyone informed of future Z car club Sydney runs. Thanks John for organising and the great photography contributed by all. Regards Craig sydney mike
