Work In The Cbd?

Hi,

I am not in the CBD, the Office is in "The Shire" but I spend most of time all over NSW both Metro & Rural.

I do miss some of the attractions of having a CBD office ;) , so could easily be convinced to head into town, or Darling Harbour for a coffee.

Cheers

Sounds like we have a few people around, which is great to see. I'll plot it up and see what's central to everyone. of course It will have to be a sunny day to ensure its worth Pete doing the trip.

Ha Ha, the only catch is will I be in Sydney, I have a LOT of travel in the next month or two.

If in Sydney I will be there.

Cheers

Perhaps have it somewhere near a railway station, some of us retirees can probably lash out on our $2.50 'travel-anywhere' ticket. Gee, 'staying back for a few drinks', that bring back some memories

PS. Make sure it has good toilet facilities for us oldies!

Make sure you have an OPAL card! They phased out most paper tickets including the senior ones I believe.

I work near Alexandria, so can probably go to CBD events provided they aren't a lunch thing.

Good points. I was just thinking of a lunch time catch up, mainly because I pick the kids up from school. It's a rare night that I am able to go out during the week :

Of course, just because I can't make the after work events doesn't mean something can't be arranged without me.

At least we know people are around and if you need a chat and advice its not too far.

Back to lunch time catch up - there isn't a real middle ground in terms of location, so it may depend on who can attend and the venue could alternate.

Gav the first suggestion is 1.1km away which might be a stretch for you. Sakuratei Japanese restaurant - Ground Floor, 202 Clarence St, its got awesome food and it has a garden out the back which may be easier to talk than inside.

If gti-z or Andy can't make it then the Pyrmont Bridge hotel could work. It really depends on how flexible people are etc.

cheers

Not sure if this is an event still being considered, thought I would throw in a suggestion for after work.

Harts Pub Happy hour 4-6pm Mon- Fri short walk from Circular Quay station.

Hi,

This month is not going to work for me, I am travelling a lot with work.

Cheers

It's always hard to organise events like this to suit every one.

How about Thursday 7th April after work at 530-6pm in town?

Its a few weeks away so plenty of notice and gives us time to decide on a location.

I'm also willing to catch up for a lunch if my days open, Fridays are easiet.
