  1. 16 minutes is not a long time to watch this clip, but it takes 1 minute to be asked, Are You Going To Watch That!
  2. Love a Bridgeport 13B. Maybe one day
  3. @HomeBuiltByJeff Bro at least your getting it done. I wish I had the patience to do it myself. I love cars but bodywork and engine rebuilding are out of my league. I know I would definitely rush and miss something and blow the motor hahah like a wrong bolt or something simple like that. Im happy to pay someone to do it properly so Ill just stick to servicing, driving and justifying buying parts to the wife loll Love watching the videos and even when I put it on the TV my 2yr old son comes and watches with me. Car, same, daddy lol Keep it up champ
  4. I remember seeing this back a few months ago. I think it sold for more than 100k AUD. Not sure why it's back with the same pictures
  5. @CroS13 Small world ay, I definitely will.
  6. Me too its turns freely so shoild be good.

  8. If there's a will there's a way
  9. Hey guys I managed to rip out all the wiring behind the dash and take it to Justin from Prowire and I wanted to email him a wiring diagram that is the Aus or close to as pissible for him to reference. Just been searching the net and I came across this U.S website that has a few for early and later model Z's diagrams. http://nicoclub.com/archives/datsun-240z-260z-280z-280zx-wiring-diagrams.html I just wanted to know if the 73 diagram is accurate as I noticed its the U.S 73 has the rear marker lights and there might be a few other things that the U.S Z had that was not on the Aus Z that I dont know about. Also I took all the guages to AttSpeed Instruments to get checked and cleaned up due to the sandblasting dust and I noticed that the bulbs were not attacheind to the back of all the guages. I did notice only two on the wiring harness but all the others were missing. Is there anywhere I can purchase the bulb fittings to get Justin to wire them in? Happy wiring Datsun_240Z_Wiring_Diagram_1973.pdf
  10. @KatoKid Dave I got the package in the post today, opened it and that was the first thing I said to myself lol it definitely looks like a Stanley job
  11. @Post-Ironic Just remembered that Zedd Saver had some for sale, not cheap. https://www.zeddsaver.com/collections/rubber/products/copy-of-1970-1972-datsun-240z-door-opening-mechanisms
  12. Thanks @Hokin I actually purchased a Steering Column Grommet as suggested by Dave @KatoKid from Zedd Saver https://www.zeddsaver.com/collections/miscellaneous-rubber/products/datsun-240z-steering-column-grommet . Problem is that is costed me $50 AUD including shipping. I think this will do the job, I will keep you guys posted in the build thread
  13. @Post-Ironic try http://store.allmusclecarparts.com.au I remember the guys there had a few sitting on their table when I got my bonnet from them a few months back. I think his name is George said that they were going to sell them soon. Give them a call
  14. A few mates, A few beers and a Z or two
  15. I agree, I have been waiting on my order for Watanabe since March and still nothing. Three weeks ago I was advised that Watanabe had QA issues with the March batch so its going to be delayed even more. I was tempted to get the Rota RKRs and use/abuse them and put in another order for the Watanabe for a later time. Not that fussed ATM
  16. Man did you read the comments. Very angry mob
  17. Definitely a epic battle
  18. @ZED660 Are you running standard master cylinder and booster? I had a few people tell me to replace the master cylinder with one that has a 1 inch boar, not sure if that is overkill on a mild cam L28
  19. @curtis 240z I should have waited. Is #211 a complete car?
  20. @ZED660 Thanks Geoff. I went out and got a pair of R33 GTS-T calipers today from Skyline spairs. Will do a test fit on Monday and see how I go. If it fits well I might just do what Dave @KatoKid said and just replace the calipers rather than changing discs. Cheers Guys
  21. Hey @ZED660 what size discs do you have in that picture you put up?
  22. @russandra Hey champ on my setup I bought the R32 GTR calipers and they are not fitting due to the 378mm DBA discs being so large. The caliper does not meet the bracket. I will be possibly be getting the R33 GTS-T calipers and keeping the larger discs instead of getting the smaller disc. Still not decided and haven't spoken to Stewart as he is away till Monday. But definitely try to use the R33 handbrake as it works well with the SW setup on the S30 Cherrs Youhan
  23. Hey Dave yeah it would be but I have already spent so much on the 32 calipers with powdef coating, new seal kit.
  24. Hey Guys So a little stuff up on my end were I purchased R32 calipers rather than R33. Basically all I need to do is change the disc to the small 280mm ones for the R32 calipers and it should all bolt up. Small mistake causes headaches, should have paid attention...
  25. He said it has a RB26DE not the turbo DETT
