  1. Yes. Although the factory colour internally has a more brown tinge and i didnt like the shade. The pearl lightens it to what you see. Colour match at the panel shop so no colour code numbers.
  2. Yes. 303. Mine has a bit of pearl added.
  3. Similar make of horns on the 260Z but they use a centre bolt with right angle bracket mount. Our 2000 Sports has horns with this style of mount. I fitted the old horns replated just for originality, but fitted Denso horns for tone. With the age and plating of the the rusty diapraghm they just never had the right tone again, sounding a bit flat inspite of the tuning, If you get some old horns you can swap the diapraghms around to play with the tone. There is also a high and low tone in the pair. Denso horns- smaller physical size but work great. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/CAR-JDM-HORN-DENSO-HORNS-12V-2-PIECES-RIGHT-AND-LEFT-UNIVERSAL-Tone-111-db/222993597649?epid=13010486078&hash=item33eb7444d1:g:r00AAOSwTbVbCZHw
  4. Positively ID'd as not being Zed. It's a micro switch bracket from a VK Commodore and similar to a bracket used on a Rochester carburettor. Mixed up with carburettor plating. Thks everyone for your help.
  5. I can sell you one with or without cam towers. PM please.
  6. Its very small and light and i should have put something next to it for scale. Can only hold light wires or a small pull cable. So no go on the gearbox. Thks.
  7. I'd advise pressure testing it before you put it back. Mine leaked on the flat top seal first time with a new shaft oring. I replaced the top seal with an Oring and it sealed and operated. I used a bike tube clamped on the inlet outlet to pressure test. Low pressure only required.
  8. I'm thinking it is someone elses plating as i dont remember removing it. Looks like it is for a pull cable or wiring as it is quiet lightweight. Anyhow it doesnt appear to be something critical i've forgotten to pur back.
  9. All Can anyone help me with identification and location of the attached bracket? Many photos lost on a phone changeover. Thks
  10. Perfect. Thanks for highlighting it. I didnt find it on my initial search criteria. Here is Sirpent's post.
  11. Is it possible to get seal kits for the heater control valve? Has anyone found an alternative valve that can be adapted to fit?
  12. Another option to consider.
  13. After a dash emblem in reasonable condition. Mine is beyond redemption and I don't want to pay more for postage from the USA than the emblem is worth. PM me.
  14. Chasing a 90 Elbow that fits in the rear of the cylinder head for heater connection. I know they are available ex USA. Just seeing if anyone has one or a local alternative?

  16. Have a R33 set i am not using if you want to measure them.
  17. Interesting to see that you still have the leather pull tab on the handle. Most of the time these are missing. I have one, that is coloured to match the cream upholstery.
  18. Advance maybe one of your problems. Have a look at the advance plate under the points. The carrier that holds the ball bearings is usually gone and hence no advance. There should be three ball bearings at the end of the plastic arms. I remade mine in aluminium to fix the advance.
  19. The early bonnet latches had the pivot pin in a pressed out section of the channel bent 90 degrees. THis was a weak point and in later bonnet latches they spot welded in the hinge. You can see the spot welded section and hinge.
  20. I've made a zRHD latch into a LHD latch. I.made a new hook as the tab to release has to be bent 180the other way. The part with the pastic coating. There is also a high side and low side on the base plate where the spring retainer holes are. You can do it but a purist would spot the difference. If you want one to modify PM me.
  21. Be aware that catches on LHD and RHD cars are opposite handed due to the pull cable coming from the other side.
  22. Great thanks. Can't get much clearer than that. GH
  23. All I just want to confirm I have this right before I go ahead and glue it down. Does the small rubber seal that fits around the window frame at the rear of the door go in between the frame and door? I assume it is glued onto the S.S. window frame before it is inserted into the door?
  24. Provided by another Datto fan. A useful guide from an old Datsun manual
