I have a full set of 6 flat tops with matching rings in standard size unused if you have a standard bore? the c/r is all gunna depend on what head you put with them.im goin for about 9.5:1 on my build with triple webers and it should perform well.standard these engines were under 9:1 and still went great.get a get flowing head and your laughin. actually i will have a reco n42 up for sale too soon....

Prothane looks to be the most practical way to go for simplicity.i would have thought the z car sources in vic would stock some line of bushes....not enough demand? hey gav if you get a couple of sets while your in the us,ill defiantly get one set off you when your back if your able to?but for the hassle it may just be easier to go ebay...let me know, i can give you money up front if you can strike a good deal.

Ok so how do you find the superpro bushes?how do they last?do they squeek after the lube goes dry or washes out?do the metal bits with them rust quickly? I have had the red urathane bushes and did find them harsh in my 300zx years ago.i will go and search now but does superpro offer the full set and where from?

Hi just wondering where to buy a full set of bushes locally?and what you guys recommend in the way of plastic or rubber.i have seen them advertised in the states on ebay for under 250 but would prefer to go local even if they are dearer.

I have a f54 block.its been stripped and ready for rebuild.have crank and pistons too but it will need to be oversized as one cylinder has minor damage.in brissy too,let me know if its of interest to you.not asking much for it.have l26 block for sale too....

The cam towers have 3 shims but the cc of the chamber is 41 which i thought was standard,so why put in shims?the height is approx 107mm. anyway enjoy. this head will be for sale but one member has first dibs.

After all the rude hijacking of my thread... (i dont care really),i took off the efi e88 head yesterday and took some pics for everyone to look at.when i was looking for info i couldnt find much.if you want more pics for the l6 head thread im happy to take more in better light.

Thanks for the responses guys,i presumed the numbers were probably rebuild date but thought id ask.I'll be stripping the engine over the next few months and hopefully its still standard bore.I picked up some AE flat tops in standard size pretty cheap so hopefully i can use them.Otherwise ill be on the hunt for a virgin block to use. Hi i asked this question in another thread but no one has answered the question yet so i thought id ask again. The current block in my zed has 1390 stamped below the L26. Could this be when it was rebuilt(1-3-90) or is it implying something else?Like 90mm bore? Im guessing rebuild but has anyone seen this before? As far as i know the engine was an exchange reco from the adelaide area.

Hi i have;L26-138476 in the car, L26-163678 and L28-765951 spare. The car should have; L26-121070 in it. Would love to find the original engine and will swap any of my blocks for it. If i have anyones block please let me know,happy to work something out. Can anyone tell me what the numbers stamped below the L-26 part might mean?The numbers are 1390. Could this be the time it was rebuilt?as the numbers arent stamped as hard as the L-26.

I would have thought there would be heaps of the e88 efi heads around,didnt they come stock on the r30 skyline?As mine has been retro fitted with spraybar i might hang on to it for a while longer as it is well sought after.Not being greedy just keeping future options there.But everything is for sale at the right price and the right time as i could use the money towards a set of koni's in a while.

Drainage didnt cost much as i dug the trenches,tapped in to the drain for the verandah,re concreted the drain to add the shed route and put in just less than3x3m lengths of pvc and some joiners,bends and glue.Total maybe $50.All gutters and down pipes were part of the kit. If you would like any more pics on certain parts or process of the shed,i have plenty more.As you might have seen i had to cut down some trees and fix the retaining wall before i could start too. Any more thoughts on the head selection anybody?

Some along the way pics. But still have an approach slab,whirlybird and power to go on. May do some other things like add a window or pa door down the track,but this is good enough for now as im itching to get back on the car work.
