Thanks for all replies.my opinion was about 500-1000 so i wasnt far out.its a shame its not a year earlier and a couple less doors...but thats fine it can sit for a few more years and see what happens.

I have contacted a couple of people on gumtree who have wanted ads for c110,240k c210 etc as im thinking of a quick sale ideally.i just dont want to sell myself short.

Hi im about aquire a c210 sedan and wondering what they go for these days. It has an l26 which i dont think is standard and a bit dinged up but is rust free!

Fair call gav,i mean no disrespect to the seller at all. Just something for impulse buyers to watch for thats all.theres been so many cut n shut jobs over the years and people seem to forget about that when buying unseen.

Im sceptical on how new the id plate is,as you can buy them stamped with whatever numbers on ebay.and the stamping on the firewall looks dodgy. Just my 2 cents.

As title says im looking for a cam to suit my build.if anyone has upgraded or has one laying around. I have a b1 cam that i can get ground down but just seeing whats out there first. Im running high comp of about 10.5-11:1 with webers and its a street car so im not after a huge duration and only moderate lift so i dont have issues with flattops. They are recessed but have a negative deck height of.7mm. With standard gasket i have .65mm head clearance with the efi e88 head. Thanks

No i wouldnt do that mate.i have a spare that the winder has been rounded off so a perfect candidate to strip.it may be rusty though im not sure.
