  1. Something for those wanting the rally style from the old days with a little extra tyre width. Most likely need fender flares: http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/glen-iris/wheels-tyres-rims/skyline-dr30-r31-gibson-motorsport-16-x-10-csa-nissan-datsun/1096769865
  2. Rear mount, rear wheel drive - Understeer!
  3. Not sure on the legalities. But I've noticed that on the current model jeeps that if the head lights are on and they are indicating the light indicating turns off. That system also uses a similar setup for having the headlight flashing for indicating, so shouldn't be an issue. How noticeable are they with the head lights on?
  4. Great work, Very Cool. Liking the fender mirror view in the video footage also.
  5. As Cozza said in Australia the amount of 2nd hand and also NOS\Remanufactured panels does appear to be stronger for the 1600. However, someone once told me "if you can walk away from a car and never look back at it, you brought the wrong car".
  6. dat2kman, if it was a 2 seater version then the answer is a resounding 'Yes'. But its become a common occurrence for the old 280ZX to be a donor parts car for its elder siblings. I used one as a daily for 13 years, never once left me stranded. So I suppose it makes me one of the Dozen's. Hahaha
  7. Hi All, If you are going to get any panels from Zeddfind, I have notified Charlie of the forum and that we may have some members with interest in some of his panels. Just notify him your from the here and hopefully he can look after you. FYI: Rear Lower valances may have a delay due to stock from what I understand. Cheers, Hokin

    L28 Rebuild

Unless your the customer in question Gav.
  9. A bit of a brown pants moments for Kiwi Ricky Cooper @ Hampton Downs recently. Skip to 8 mins. ^ Just a short 360 degree spin and back to business.
  10. Hi Gav, That sucks to hear, but i've been in the same boat for the past few months and its caused mine to come to a stand still which was driving me nuts. Thus I went ahead based upon the interest in the group buy. Charlie seems to be open to negotiations and shipping methods which may help as it did with mine. If your going ahead i'll let him know i'm a member of the forum and see if you can get a discount based on recommendation. Cheers, Hokin
  11. Thanks for the vendor link Gav, due to urgency of needing the part I have had to order prior to the group buy. I have managed to talk to Charlie (Vendor) and arranged to get one sent over from Canada land. Vendor is a pretty nice guy, but will keep you advised with regards to obtaining the end product and customer service. PS: Next lot of rear beaver panels wont be available until after April Charlie advised.
  12. So true CBR Jeff. I remember sitting in a cafe in Japan, a lady gets up leaves her handbag, book and everything else to go to the bathroom. Comes back 10mins later, with everything still there. Not a single person looked at the stuff she had left behind. They have a great deal of respect for others property. Back here would have been gone after 3 mins.
  13. I went late last year, and miss it already. Never found the beer vending machines, but every family mart had it sitting right next to the soft drink.
  14. Heat shielding looks good. Will have to do something of the sort around the turbo on mine and see if I can reduce the heat saturation.
  15. Hi Gav, After checking the rear end without all the bog\paint\rust\tetanus - I'm definitely in for this now. Cheers, Adam
  16. Hi Gav, Put me in as an expression of interest for the S30 Rear beaver panel. Just let us know the details for when its going to go ahead. Cheers, Adam
  17. Yay, that's great news. Looking forward to this
  18. Now that is just awesome Gav.
  19. I often find that looking at the Haynes too long will make you overthink it and psyche you out of doing it. In past experience the beer system works well. Have a beer and then start working, using the Haynes manual to help you out as you go. On some forums members refer to it being a '4 beer job' for time frames. The exhaust and headers if its a bolt together setup will be easy. If you are a little uneasy trying on your own, invite a mate over to give you a hand. A ittle moral support goes a long way and you have to allocate to the time frame.
  20. Hi Rtiny, I think you will find that the 8.5's will stick out from the wheel arch and may require rolling of the lip or possibly fender flares. Any particular reason for the 15" diameter? Check the link below, if they are still for sale, these are 16x8 at 0 offset. Were on a car without flares and any fouling, nearly got these myself but went a different direction. http://www.viczcar.com/forum/topic/13649-watanabe-16x8-0-as-new-with-tyres-melbourne/page-2 Cheers, Hokin
  21. Vents look awesome, has a Dodge Viper feel about it. If it helps get the heat and built up air out of the engine bay I'm all for it. Thus the reason for me using the fluted 260z bonnet.
  22. Hi Wayne, Much like Gav I would be interested. The ability of getting one locally is great and there is definitely a spot in the market for this panel as I haven't been able to find one locally other than having to hack up another shell *shudders*. Im always happy to support a well made local product. Cheers Adam
  23. Hi gav, did the rear beaver panel also include the tail light area from Canada? If not I'm hoping Wayne gets on top of this. Definately a gap in the market. I'm interested at the present for this. Don't want to have to find a shell to cut up.
  24. Last car is the same direction Stivv went isn't it?
