    The roof line and rear quarter windows are possibly the best looking parts on an S30 imo - can't believe anyone would cut them off!

    Is it though? Ad seems to say S30 and 1975. I was curious as to where the S31 fit i.e. would an "early" 260z have been made in the same period as an S30 or S31 Fairlady, so did some research and found a post Alan made on another forum saying the S31 came much later (1976).

    What do you think about the black pearl special edition 280z colour? I'm not really a fan, but I could say the same for most cars in black.

    I've assumed the rear bumper style on that 1970 HLS30 was for 260Zs? Bit confused after googling it now, but 240s with the rubber part and 260s without it seem to be the exception. What's the deal with that?

    Yeah, the one I saw was a 914-6 too (admittedly I have no idea of the differences besides the engine). Cant remember what colour it was now unfortunately.

    Are there many of them over here? I saw one in the car park at the Shannons Sydney Classic recently - first time i've seen a 914 in person.

    Not a fan of the aesthetic changes either, looks a bit closer to a ZX. Don't know how I feel about an electric drive train on a car of that vintage either.

    What needles should I be going for with a reasonably stock (afaik) L26? The guy I spoke to at Ztherapy reckons the SM needles could be dialed in and that they send them out to 95% of their customers, but from what i've read elsewhere they are very rich even on stock L28s. The n58s and the others are all l24 needles I think though?

    They've had a nice looking track prepared (in Japan) 911SC RS replica for like 5 years too (well its still on gumtree at least). Doesnt make a whole lot of sense.

    Embodiment of the stereotypical used car salesman I guess. The cars sold at his yard seem to get a bad wrap on the Japanese odometer check page and various forums for being wound back. But unfortunately I think that is the norm and not the exception with these importers =( I think he is just an easy target due to the high presence on youtube and what not.
