    Fender Mirrors

Man they're cool but it's soo steep...
  2. Ouch, any in car footage of the off TT??? Hope he and car are ok
  3. There was one on here a few months back mate. Almost nabbed it myself. Try going through the WTB section until you stumble across it.
  4. Good work mate. But big thumbs down of 300zx seats. You can do so much better... They scream 80s styling

    Fender Mirrors

Thanks Yosemite, I'll get onto him when I'm back in the country. What's a fair price - $500ish??
  6. That white 432 is mint. Gav, love the rims too plus its ride height is perfect. Would it be stock or dumped a little??
  7. Ha, youll be the first in line if I do decide to re-list them due to clearance. From my calculations I have almost 10mm inside the guards currently, so am aiming for 3 or 5 mm spacers until I do machine the calipers to clear. So your z using 5mm spacers greatly reduced your stud length huh? Id hoped I wouldnt need to get longer ones, but I agree you dont want limited thread and a wheel come flying off!!
  8. Does anyone know if a 260z tank would fit a 240z??
  9. Good stuff mate.. Are you going to sell this one too? Is the cost for paint/panel better than in Aus? I assume yes, but how much better??
  10. Have you thought about getting one made up mate?? I'm in the same situation at the moment. Thinking of going a subtle drop tank style
  11. Yeah pretty much my exact line of thought at the moment. Am hoping to go 3 mm or 5 mm spacer for now, then see if shaving a tad off the willwoods would suffice... The spacer should be OK as it's very minimal and can still use the current studs.. Bloody cars. One step forwards, two steps backwards!!!
  12. Any pics of it Dimitri??
  13. I'm with you. Arent spacers illegal though??
  14. Sorry dat2kman, you're suggesting to slightly grind down the caliper a few mm??
  15. Man, I just fitted my new wats I bought here and they are just touching on the willwood caliper:(( barely but there's s slight rubbing...literally less than 5mm Any suggestions??? I love them but f%#@ this is annoying.

    Fender Mirrors

I've finally decided to go the fender mirror route. Its unfortunate the previous owner had plugged the original ones as I now have to re do the work. Chasing a good condition, preferably black set. Ive noticed NOS Nissan ones on gumtree for $550 but thought Id try here first. Let me know what you've got!
  17. Hi mate, does the car run at the moment? Looks like a decent buy for whats done and what needs to be completed. Apart from the surface rust, do you know if there is any structural rust? Also, id be interested in those fender mirrors if selling separately ?? PM me a price.
  18. I concur with all above comments... That's some quality work mate. Looks in good company next to that Porsche too. Your right Kato in saying assembly is a lot longer process than what people imagine, however it is very rewarding as every Job is one step closer and you can see instant results. Really going to be a nice zed mate. Good stuff
  19. Glad it sorta worked out mate... And I agree 1000% re sterilisation of those types in our community!
  20. Welcome and condolences. With the history behind the car and adding your own touches it will be a tribute and a special car for you. Couldn't have chosen a better shape.
  21. $1500+ I'd imagine. X2 for a 240z dash
  22. Good work Rev, stay safe and be careful.
  23. Ouch that XC GT woulda been good to keep!!! Worth a pretty penny now too
  24. Yeah i'm in the same boat and it looks fairly clean however if I bought it I would put the roof back on it. I wonder what condition the body is like?
  25. $8k is a bargain for that
