The front and bonnet are the same and would fit, the door is longer and so is the space from wheel arch to door frame, and I think the back is wider. The wheel base is longer with the 2+2 so proportionally would not look right as a copy of a 250 GTO, I would stick with your first answer and say no. You could make it fit with work but don't think it will look right.

I have been told yes, so hope so as I hope to use my 2+2 in my 240z, as you can see there is not much of a change of angle, just enough to allow more head height for the back seats. I am using the top windscreen frame with the roof and that is the same.

On the photo of the chrome strips where the clamps are is the part I am using of the head, that is at the widows edge, and has you can see it just needs a little curve to match, from that point back it changes too much.the 2+2 is the bottom one, as you can see different angle in the windscreen posts.

I am looking at fitting a 2+2 roof to my 240z,the front pillars on the 2+2 lean forward to the front more allowing the roof more height for the back seats,where the 240 slopes back more, the roof seems to be the same from the front top of windscreen to the hatch top edge on the 240, so I will cutting the roof at the front top corners and using the top front frame and will be welding the roof at the top hatch edge, if you try the chrome strips of both cars they are very close,where the back side windows are I need to come further forward with the cut as that changes there as well, so need a dogs leg on both sides,From this point back the roof frame changes for the differnt shape side back windows. I am Pretty sure mine can be done with out seeing it. Or I could try and find a 2 seater roof which are not cheap but would be easier.

Thanks Lurch, I have been trying to get a copy of the art work to get things happening before Xmas, do you or anybody else have a high res picture of the sites logo, or a high res picture of that car in that shot position so I can set it up.

In the specifications it says "Front mounted oil cooler with steel braided hoses" why would you not put it behind the spoiler.

If you want to go 260z 2+2 sexual_sushi who is in Brisbane had a good shell, and that with my chopped up minus roof would give you a whole usable car.

Actually the front half of mine looks fine except a bit of rust on the radiator support , if the fire wall back is fine on PZG302 and chassis numbers are fine joining them would make a fine 240z , I need a roof for my 240z and the back half is rusted on the 260 2+2.

There are heaps around, what is your budget. I have one in my shed that I am about to chop up.

Not 100% sure but looks like the one put on e-Bay on the 14th May, same part of Brisbane same starting price,same colour he had rebuilt it and his son was trying to sell for his dad, They also had pallets of spare parts for sale at the same time, the car did not get a bid at 12.5k starting price. I found my link to it but is to old for e-bay to show the car.

This is the worst time you could sell your car now as the market has crashed, and the best time to buy if you have any money and did not loose it in the share market crash. Here is a car for an example of what yours is worth, this was on e-bay last week, Rust is the biggest issue it could cost somebody 5-10 to fix the rust and paint a car. I have been watching the price of cars fall quite a bit as my work is on the computer all day. For an asking price of 10k for a 2+2 it would have to be top of the line and nothing to do and will probably not get a bid if that was starting price on e-bay. If the car can do ( 400km+) wihtout a sweat. Drives perfect. why would it not get to Perth. Other than being pulled up for the rust. How far do you need to drive before the car is a proven car, 20 min drive will tell you what it is like and as long as the hoses don't look like they are about to fall apart I would drive it.

Most people would not bother with the link and if they win and don't like what they see , they don't buy. With E-bay now you can't leave a negative for a buyer, only for a seller. The car market has crashed now and is a buyers market, My neighbor was a car salesman and he said the only cars he could move this year was under 3k, He has given up now and not worth it and closed the yard. I bought the wife a 306 cab for $3500,The week before it went for $4600, and the winning bid did not take it, last year they were 10-15k for the same car. A mate in my bike club picked up a 2008 Electra glide Harley, new they were 38k and 20 k was spent on it, mate picked it up for 15k, last year bike would have got 30k.

I see this stopped at $5200, not met reserve, A little bit higher than I thought it would get, but none of the photo's on e-bay showed the rust.

Chemiweld is good stuff, I have used it on a Cressida where the water is pouring out exhaust, water in the oil, oil in the water and running rough, comes all good and got 5 years out of it having to use another bottle each year as it blew though, ended up blown head gasket, yet my bobcat that had a cracked head has been going 6 years on one bottle .
