my best l28 with 88mm pistons made 340hp atfw so it is possible there stroker is making close to 400hp .there 86mm stroke and 90mm bore 55mm webers or injected with 630th cams with 310 deg and 14to1 compresion so they should go pretty good.

I no of a 260z that did 310km one night and it had 400kwatw .that is one fast na L series well done to them. g nose is a must at speed the front wheels get real light after 150mph

Another big week playing with Z cars with a few more things crossed off the list. Made new engine mounts, made all the oil lines for the turbo, made the clutch lines and the break lines then had to remove the clutch again as a pivot point was not right but it is now fixed but spacing the fly wheel back by 4mm........ which was harder than i thought it would be! Next will be wiring the computers up and making windows and then the utube video of the tuning of the engine!

funny you will spend 700 on twin idler when rods are 750 i no which way i will spend my money

spool has fj20 rods i normaly by 3 sets so i can build 2 l28 they are a good budget rod not as good as some but you get whot you pay for

I'm with scando Zs don't like to be to low. when my car ran 9.8 140mph it was at standard height .when it was lower it ran 11.3 .and spun the tyers the hole way

standard rods are ok when prep work has been done .I change them because i like the long rod . and short piston which is 200g lighter per cylinder .a 88mm piston on a standard rod will be heavy

yer my diff your one still in the rear of your car i just put new rear gtr backing plate on for wheel speed sencers

.......Just a bit of an update on how the car is coming along! This wend i fixed the clutch throw problem and was able to make 90% of the side exit exhaust. Had to cut the sill to get the exhaust through but have added extra bars in the roll cage so the strength is not lost. I also fabricated extra bracing in the sill just to be sure! Covered the new exhaust well with heat shielding. Fitted front sway bar and mounts that was way harder than i was expecting!!! I got the speed sensors fitted to the diff so now i can actually measure how much slip the diff has and accurately measure wheel slip v's gps and front wheel speed which will be a great track aid!
