  19. HI Chaps I must admit I was worried about the car. We all know how much pictures hide stuff. When the car rocked up on the back of the truck I was shocked at how good it looked. The trim is in excellent condition, a couple of small tears in the headlining and driver seat. Has a section of the centre console missing and a broken toggle of the rear demist switch. All the gauges and elec windows work as does the original radio. The engine sounds nice, blows nothing nasty out the back. It has 45mm OER carbs that look almost new. starts with the key only hot or cold. great thing. I have driven it down the road and the gearbox is nice. no diff noise or anything untoward. Glass is all in great shape, Chrome etc is also nice. I was told the car has been in a shed most of its life and I feel that info was accurate. Body wise its had a paint job a while back. I've been over it with our thickness gauge and the worst part is 2mm thick. that's in the lower rear 1/4 sections. You can see rust repairs have been done there. Has a couple of small marks here and there but nothing major. I've changed all the seat belts to aussie standard, few bits and pieces and some suspension bushes. Hopefully will be registered in a couple of weeks. Cheers
