Doom, whilst I was looking for the C10 I noticed a lot of c210 like yours. all with the jdm flares etc. They look really good. May be a cool option for you cheers

It was more about the "not a Z car" Gav. I realise a lot of people here like the early skylines. That's why I thought I would do a thread. All the local guys know how many hours ive been doing to make this happen. It does help that the missus works every second weekend so I can also. Hate sitting at home watching TV when there are cars to buy. There is a nice safari gold 2 door for sale at the moment. pricey though. When it arrives I will do what is required to register it and just drive the thing. Over time I will restore it, but try to keep it on the road as well. Mick has won the internet. HA HA HA Ive wanted one since I saw Ash's car at the All Jap day a year or so ago. Never really considered it an option due to the whole import hassle. then a fellow zeder tells me him and his mate used to import stuff from japan and have a friend on the ground that owns a car yard n japan. So it was on, I gave them a baseline of what i wanted and how much i was happy to spend. many cars come and went, mostly due to them being stupidly expensive. Just as i was about to call it quits due to my race engine blowing up this car came along. so the race car engine will just have to wait. To be honest after selling Patina Z ive missed just going for a cruise. Worked and saved hard to get this car and put off some renos so the missus aint super happy. I think for 12 months I will just drive and maintain. Really depends what it is actually like. Although I got alot of pics we all know pics hide stuff. The car was purchased new by an older farmer. Who barely drove it. The a bloke around my age purchased it and over many years done the gtr clone makeover. Apparently its only done 35000km. We will see I guess. Its not like I cant fix it. thanks lads

First up Gav if you don't want this on here take it down. I will be fine with that as I understand the way it works. For some time my goal has been to get a 72 skyline. To some this may seem stupid but to others a dream. Ive been patiently waiting for a while ready to pull the trigger but the right car has finally become available for what I believe to be a sensible price, So the trigger was pulled. I will get some good pics up when the car rocks up, hopefully before Xmas but more than likely mid to late Jan. For now these small pics will have to do Cheers

The Block is an N1 block, new from japan. Basically the motorsport version of the RB26 block. Pete and I have had long discussions regarding the requirements for my car. Im sure it will be a brute. And will last even more importantly. Regards

Problem for me is running my own business finding the time to be away for over a week is hard. I would love to spend more time on the track that's for sure. Will hopefully be back there next year bigger and stronger so I can do a decent amount of laps. Cheers

Hi Brabham Number 6 rod decided it wanted some freedom. Have not pulled it out yet so don't know what caused this. My oil pressure and other data logs don't show any obvious issues. Yea the shell has been stitched up. The cage is full on and has plenty of attachment points. The fuel system is setup and good for E85. But it is a pain for me to get it so I haven't changed yet. The new engine when done will require E85 or Custom blend. I hope to be there next year. On the way over I was only ever go there once, But as I didn't get the time on the track I wanted I will definitely be back. Just depends how long the engine takes. The budget is what will make it take long time not the builder. Cheers Paul

Most fuels were race or E85. On Saturday I was walking around with the family most of the day. I needed to clear the head a bit. Trust me guys I would have loved all of you to see it going around the track. Cheers Paul
