  1. All completed now. Louver may or may not be a permanent addition. Just in time for All Japan Day.
  2. It's not a 260z gearbox. The 260z gearbox has the oil filler on the RHS.
  3. I have a nice good used one you can have for free. PM me your address and I will sènd it to you.
  4. Much more aqua in that Nissan Micra colour. I considered it too but thought I may regret it later. Gav, it's a CF bonnet from Otomoto. Fits really well.
  5. Some progress snaps. 95% completed
  6. Yeah, i am happy to meet earlier.
  7. I will be there with my zed
  8. Does anyone know anything about Nifty Nev's race fabrication? (Orange Z's air box) Dr. Google has no answers.
  9. How exciting! Looks fast just sitting there.
  10. I painted my wats centres with satin enamel black and I clean them with WD-40 for the cleanest finish. Never harmed the paint or polished lip of the wheel. I use it on the tyres too when I am feeling OCD.
  11. That's the one. I'm not sure if you can buy it on the net. Best call them for that. I buy it from JP Paint and Panel in Adelaide.
  12. I have used and recommend Spray Chief 2 PAC epoxy primer. It is ISO cyanate free.
  13. Speechless. That looks like a beast of a zed. I hope to get a ride in it soon Well done!
  14. Yes, they are the ones. They don't come with the chrome bezels but 2+2 bezels are the same as 2 seater ones.
  15. These are hard to find un damaged as I was looking for a set recently. You can buy brand new ones in the US in CF from C7 carbon for around $300.
  16. I totally have to agree with retro......
  17. Great job. Look forward to seeing her in the flesh one day.
  18. Nissan 1st, 2nd, 5th and 9th !
  19. Neat and nice looking zed. What does it drive like now?
  20. Thanks for the nice words guys! James, your zed was looking pretty spiffy too. Yeah, all jap day is looking like a goer. About a day to cut with 1200 wet and then 2000 wet to a smooth surface avoiding the edges. Then about half a day of buffing. If I was to do it again, I would avoid the 1200 / 2000 and just use 1500. The 2000 didn't really get rid of all the 1200 scratches and it took a while of buffing to get them out.
  21. Cut and polish complete. Now the satisfying task of reassembly
  22. What kind of rear disk set up?
  23. Ok, I get it now. Thanks for the info guys.
  24. Yes that possible, but will be a PITA to get all 3 stripes straight side by side. Have one stripe will be SO much easier.
