I have a diesel dual cab hilux and have to agree with Chris all you ever need is there , 4x4 , exactly enough space to fit a 260z bonnet in the back, go over speed humps without slowing down, drive straight through roundabout etc

hey mate
I use a standard jig saw with a metal blade or my air hacksaw or depending on the position of the peice that you want cut out, a pair of good quality tin snips work well

welcome mate
just to give you an example of cost

Hey everyone,
Just got afew things done over the past week. Some more strengthening and some rust repairs behind the sill panel.
Here is the sill panel. Cut the rust out and made some new panels to replace it. Once they were done i brushed some Por15 over them to protect them until i get the final spray paint/coat.

Second of all came the strengthening. Peter Allen let me copy his U channel to strengthen the area around the engine crossmember. Once the RB30ET is sitting in the bay and i have an idea of space constraints. I will most likely add webbing running from this U channel to just passed the seam at the strut tower to reduce flexing of the inner guard panel.
This picture shows where the webbing will run. Basically it will be a right angled triangle running from the rail to just before the guard comes to the curve.
Thats all for now guys. Coming along nicely.
Hey guys
i think its time we have another meet, there looks like there are a few new members that have joined so i was thinking it would be good to catch up with the old and the new
any suggestion????
Loui

Mate i wouldnt be doing that, problem is if you get any water between the 2 panels it will rust up in no time, what i would recommend is that you make up your replacement peice and then scribe around it onto the existing peice and then cut it out and mig weld it in with your new BOC 190
Loui
hey John
Let me clarify something, the problem here is i am half MACO and half GREEK descent, BUT all AUSTRALIAN
so basically i will be siding with both of you and everyone else

Hey Brabham
RB 30 implant is ok as long as the requirements below are met.
Basiccally brake upgrade, my front set up is 300zx vented disc's with hilux 4 pot calipers
rears are 300zx disc's with 180sx calipers with a hand brake set up.1" patrol master cylinder is required, also the engineer stated i should weld in a 2mm plate inside the fire wall where the brake booster is connected so there is no flex
oringal R200 rear set up is ok
