  11. Yes Mate Why interesting ?? Take a look on Ebay theres a zillion for sale for all makes of cars, I bought mine from a speed shop in Cheltenham Victoria, included were the metal bend which I trimmed down 6 inches to suit my personal fitting location, various adapters, an expander coupling, clamps and a pov pak filter which I dumped in favour of a finer filter oiled unit Cheers
  12. Agreed A good quality 10w 30 oil will warm up nicely in winter and disperse heat quite well in summer However a transmission cooler on the other hand I feel is a must in any climate Cheers
  13. Hello Mate Change out the rubber seal, regardless that it may LOOK ok, rubber loses its substance after a while, check the roof in case its warped and as said before adjust the latch and hinges Cheers

  18. yeah I agree, although many people have experienced shabby service and products from sellers and when neg feedback has been left the sellers have given the buyers all sorts of grief, EG not paid notices. black listed etc However I do agree when your genuine, it f---s it up for everyone Cheers
  19. Hello Mate For whats its worth Ive removed the original air box set up on my 280zx and plumbed a pod in its place, you can by the kits from any good auto speed shop, Ive had no problems with rego as long as its clean and looks proffessional Cheers
  20. Well Mate Your already half way there Finish your time and then do what ever you want, youll find as time goes by employers will only look at well qualified and skilled people to employ, things wont get any easier, gone are the days of a minimum pass at school etc Cheers

Hello and welcome Mate Its good your going to Tafe to learn welding, an excellent basic skill set youll need for car restoration Something Ive always imparted to my apprentices over the years, before you attack your own car re: panel and paint work, go to the wreckers spend a couple of hundred dollars on some junker panels and practice, practice, practice your new skills, its cheap insurance at the end of the day!!!
