  1. I've enrolled in one at Wagga for next year it's the TAFE plus vehicle restoration course. Goes for 18 wks and is $800. Should be fun.
  2. I think zedback is on the money. I just remembered that the steel line from the filter to the injectors is kinked near the front of the rocker cover. I dismissed it because it seemed to be the return line (?) Maybe the pump is just shagged As far as the ECU goes I not long ago removed the 35 pin connector and cleaned everything up and all looked fine. Another issue may be that crap is stuck in the small filters in the injectors? But it does sound like the pump is shagged.
  3. I did this procedure with the old filter (which funnily enough was still a JECS filter ) and yes it contained brownish fluid but not much in the way of particles. I dismissed the colour of the fuel due to the fact I'd added lots of injector cleaner... which itself was dark red!
  4. Be interested to know how you went getting that bloody fuel sender out Pauly
  5. Hey mate I'll be interested in buying any of the Australian ones from the 70's-80's of you. We have a mini 'habit' too
  6. Ah I'm misreading again So you're not after a 280zx anymore?
  7. Maybe he should auction it off on the site seeing he didn't deserve it?
  8. What's your price range? There seems to be a 280zx to suit every price range
  9. I'm all for the technology and all, but geez you guys are impatient! Shouldn't you be looking for parts and new projects on the net, not watching up-and-coming top gear episodes?
  10. 'Some bloke' hey? Haha! How is the brown hornet?
  11. They're Performance 'challenger' wheels and you can buy them at Bob Jane etc So yes, they're ferrari rims (happy? )
  12. I just got a better quote from auto-logistics.com.au from Wagga to Ingleburn (their depot in Sydney) for $369. They seem to use the cheapest option rather than the quickest option. The best bet would be to get on there and see what they would do for a door to door service so you wouldn't have to go to Ingleburn to pick it up. Their quotes are emailed to you and take an hour or so.
  13. That was using ceva-just did a google search for car transport. You can get an online quote from them and it only takes a few minutes. I specified the dropoff point as 'sydney depot'. So you went through Kapooka>?
  14. The best quote I've found so far is $541
