I've sold all my previous cars privately, - I've always used a different prepaid mobile# for my ad contacts and email as well, never my personal ones - I've NEVER let someone come inspect at my house, always agreed to meet at a servo or maccas, anywhere there are people and surveilance cameras - Only test ride with the buyer in the passenger seat and only let them in the car after seeing their driver's license. If they can't accept my very reasonable conditions they are more than welcome to buy elsewhere it's protected me & my sales have always gone smoothly & with genuine buyers

Hi Mate, Search in google images "240z stance" and that should bring up a lot of cars that fit your description. I'd embed some pictures directly on here but this forum has a funny habit of not being able to resize pictures hyperlinked. While that sort of look isn't my cup of tea personally it's great to see a young bloke into classic cars & I'm of the attitude of "it's your car do what you want with it" Plenty of info on here & a lot of members are a wealth of knowledge, just gotta trawl through the forums to dig out the info you need

Hi mate, Definitely recommend giving Kreative Enterprises a ring. They complied my JDM s30z & are familiar with our cars. http://www.kreativeengineering.com.au/ The owner is a top bloke & straight forward no nonsense kind of guy. My car didn't need an import plate (1976 build if that helps) & I have full road rego. I do have a list of all the items checked for compliance but I'm overseas at the moment & not back until January. Sounds like you covered off the main things already. For NSW rego you'll need to also get a weighbridge ticket + blueslip once you have compliance papers signed off as it's imported Windscreen wipers need to be functioning & both washer jets have to be functional not just one or the other, this is for blueslip but not sure about the engineer side of things Good luck!

Yup, Got a Best Motoring or option DVD at home on the R series GTRs. In it they mention how Nissan was pretty much in financial shambles before Carlos Ghosn took the reigns & merged Renault with them. From memory he said that out of 30-40 or so odd car model line up in their range only about 4-5 were profitable at the time he took over

Same, however we are talking a 30-40year gap here. That kind of body crumpling in this day and age is shocking and small hatches are already sardine cans to begin with. I'm under no illusions if I was ever to be T-boned in my zed I'd be a goner for sure Cést la vie Same, I've driven an R35. While I respect the car for it's abilities i'm not a big fan of it personally. This is coming from a guy who has only ever owned nissan cars since I got my license.

One of the guys in my car club owns a green 240z over in America with pretty much the same style wheels so it must have been a theme back in the day.

Is that for a set up like yours? ie WRX modded to fit I think I need to start emailing them

bit hard to tell from that pic exactly where that hole is but I'm pretty sure it's a factory hole. There's at least 1 or 2 rubber plugs near the driver seat on my car also, when I had to fit ADR approved seat belts for rego compliance it left an unused bolt hole switching over from the original japanese belts so I just plugged it up again with the bolt. looks like there's moisture in that area too...

Ahh so that was you then Shame we didn't catch up in person, next time at another event I hope Was a bit of a hectic day for me, got to the gate right on opening so we could set up our cars, then had to run to the airport to see my dad off flying back home overseas. Didn't get back until around 1pm. We had a few of our club members also competing at the event so I was running around catching up with them + watching some of the pro class runs. Very sorry to hear about the two zeds also, I saw Paul's orange zed getting towed away

Hey mate, thanks! One of my club members told me about a guy asking where the owner of the zed was Believe it or not my zed won "Best JDM" car of the day. Must be çause it's basically OEM hahah Was a fun day, some of the boys & I had literally front row seats for the miss time attack judging comp as well, My friend was taking a lot of pics so I'll post some up when they start uploading it all Man Smokey hasn't aged a day... I've still got some option/best motoring DVD's laying around that are 7+ years old & I bet he looks exactly the same as your photo
