Can these wheels be powder coated????

I have an old rusty shell at home. I may attack it with the grinder just to see how it will look LOL

I just think it would be nice to have a copy of the original glovebox manual. (for interests sake) I know you can buy them on ebay etc. But it would be nice to have access to them here. As long as we are not profiting from it I can't see the problem. We could even sell crayons that come with a free copy of the owners manual.

I was thinking of getting the boiler maker at work to make one for me. Any chance you could get your mates measured up for me? Also measure the mesh size I want it as original as possible. I did not watch the item damn it, just copied the pic. I think it was around $250 to $300 when I grabbed the pic. Another car with a 432 grill P.S. Snow has melted

Would it be worth AUSZCAR getting hold of some original good condition owners manuals and doing a bulk reprint if the price is right and there is enough interest? Would there be any copyright laws in doing this? Would it be better to have a downloadable high quality .pdf versions on this site? So we could veiw/print them our selves?

In my 300ZX I used to get blokes in XR8's, XR6's and BOMBADORES trying to overtake me. They would either get to the back wheels and I would drop it back a cog and loose them. or Let them overtake think they had a victory. Then blow the paint off there doors on the way past, after they got a few corners ahead. Can't wait till my new 240Z is on the road.

My 18 year old 1989 Z32 had leather seats and it developed cracks on the drivers side etc. But was mostly OK, The steering wheel cover had a fair bit of wear on it as well. I think there is synthetic options, Like soft feel Pleather (Plastic Leather) and imitation Swede. Swede may be another option to cut down heat and give the car a classy look.

Personally I would prefer to stick with vinyl or even go leather. But you do have a valid point with the heat issues. This is only an issue is Tassie for 3 months of the year. I think a red bead on the two seams that run length ways up the seat, offset to the center would look good. I would avoid putting a red bead on the edges etc. but it is your choice. I have a dash cover for my 2+2 260Z, It is made of a material like a plastic scouring sponge, just it is grey and softer. This cover is flimsy and slips off my dash all the time due to it not being velcro'ed down. But the shape is better than your current one. I could probably take it to an upholsterer in Tasmania and get them to cut a template in any material you want. The material would have to be soft so that it would mould to the contours of your dash under it's own weight. With the dash covers you have seen on E-bay, are they the same material top and bottom? If so all they would need is flipping over and they should fit a RHD car. Have you had a look at the seat re-upholtering kits on ebay? Would these work out cheaper? The manufactures of these kits may make you a set in velour.

It's a Datsun 260z. 3. The fifth wheel goes in the spare wheel well. 4. It's on it's side because it's on a rotating stand for restoration, you can turn it up the right way if you want. 5. It is a 2 seater sports car, if you're clever I think you could put extra doors and seats in but this might reduce it's value. Hell, a pop top for camping might be a nice touch too but that would slow it down. A POP TOP ZED WOULD LOOK GOOD LOL
