Have you made CRS aware of the alignment issue? If I do a conversion like this I would like to buy the mounts locallyat CRS and have them exactly right for my purposes.

How old are your sparkplug and coileads? This could not be causing your problems could it?

First Option Make an aluminium plate that sits in the plastic console, Problems with this is the gear stick may make contact with the gate as the whole gearbox moves. Second Option Make a Aluminium plate that is welded to the gear box, Problems with this is more fabrication. Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated. Here are some photos.

Just say your car is travelling at 100km/h and the speedo is reading 110km/h that it is out of wack by 10% In this case the car travelling at 60km/h the speedo will be reading 66km/h; again out by 10% SO YOUR CAR IS OUT BY A PERCENTAGE NOT BY 15km/h accross the board. If I were you I would work out the ratios with your current setup or just use your GPS as your speedometer
