  1. A member on here has one...but with just a small 10c sized patch of rust. I have the contact details at home if you want...Member lives in Box Hill Nth
  2. I think a member Craig "p510psi" had some calipers from an R33...might be good to PM him as he isn't on here too often..
  3. Well done! In the title next time, please type in what scale they are in!
  4. Sorry, I'll post up pics of my Velo's installed with a half cage and intrusion bars. I think i mentioned it a few days ago but everytime I get home it's too dark and cold!
  5. Might even be worth checking in the US. Out of the 300,000 zeds that were sold a roof should be available there. Shipping might be the killer but at least you found one.
  6. I'm running one of those BRE style spoilers on the front and at a recent Philip Island event donw the straight doing approx 130mph (who knows how inaccurate my speedo is!) the zed never drifted or lifted the nose in a bad way.. I've experienced the drifiting without a spoiler at a low 50-60 mph so I could imagine at anything higher what it would be like.
  7. Spot on....offers of around 3.5K and up will be seriously considered... I don't think I'll be doing much in the club events anymore so a setup like this would be suited to a healthy L24 to a stroker 3.1. Plus my zed is hardly driven so someone else can have some fun with it. There are some videos of it running on youtube now... Unfortunately yes...I'll be whacking on a set of SU's for now just to keep the zed going. I'd rather sell it as a complete ready to bolt on and run setup. I've done 3 of these setups with each zed I've had and I can do it all again...Its the ultimate set and forget system I've seen. Cold starts are no problem at all..but for now I can let it go.
  8. Just seeing if there is any interested parties for a complete setup, that is everything needed to fuel inject your L series engine. Details are: Wolf V500 ECU, EFI Hardware 45mm Throttle bodies X 3 Bosch Fuel pump and 250cc injectors Surge tank Fuel rail 280ZXT distributor (just being used as a CAS) Wasted spark coil pack (from V6 Hyundai model) Redline manifold with all linkages Loom with sensors Basically everything needed to run the engine. Many more details To purchase everything new, will be over $5-6000 and the difficulty chasing up the 280ZXT dizzy! as they say, everything has it's price, so just testing the water...
  9. I'm sure seat belt bolts are 7/16 UNF High Tensile but not 100%. I'll check and update post if it is different. I have a collection of them at home so I can make sure.
  10. I'll be coming for a looksy without a zed. Opened the wallet today and some moths flew out! Don't know why I even bother carrying one around.
  11. Steve Newing sells mesh covers already made to suit his trumpets you have already Dave, $33 each
  12. Anyone flying in still have no transport from the airport? Let me know if you are stuck; I may be able to help with that....
  13. I just do club sprints with my 240Z and I'm sure my discs are from RDA. I bought the discs then had them slotted by a local guy at about $45 for the pair. Have yet to see or have any problems with the discs cracking or warping etc..For the street, anything will be fine.
  14. geez..didn't even check! hahaha
  15. Great you got it back...bad thing is those little ¼ windows cost a heap..find a self serve wrecker and git it cheap.
  16. Are you reffering to the module on the side of the elec distributor (C + B) ? C connection goes to the -ve side of the coil and the +ve goes to ign 12+ power..
  17. Another Happy Birthmas...
  18. I managed to shoe horn two Velo seats in my 240..drivers side slightly leaning to the left but hardly noticeable. Just to clear the shoulder support and the door. Can take pics if needed.
  19. Might have a box from a 280ZX available for you..located in Oakleigh. I'll pass on your number to the owner..
  20. marathon effort there Simon! You should get a finders fee!
  21. Hehe Andrew... Just check if the fuse is still ok and the clips that hold it. Check there is no corrosion on the clips and make sure all the plugs are in tight.
  22. I think what he means by "dizzy spacer" is the seperate base for the distributor thats bolted to the front timing cover wioth those two 10mm bolts. Just be sure you use a base made for the electronic dizzy as the points type ones are different.
  23. Also, invest in a timing light; they help so much when it comes time to setup a new distributor! Another way to find top dead center of #1 cylinder is to remove the oil filler cap and with a light, have a look at the cam lobes for number 1. When the timing mark is on the zero on the crank pulley, the two cam lobes should form a "V" or like rabbit ears or as in one at 45' and the other 45' in the other direction. With the torch on it you will see what I mean. Then the rotor should be pointing to number 1 plug lead and then go anti-clockwise 1 5 3 6 2 4..
  24. Welcome! Just keep your eyes glued to the PC screen and you will find one. Hope we can help when you do!
  25. How much camber are you planning on running on the front? I have some lower arms made by PowerPlay and running approx 3.5- camber and still ok with the original tie rods.. How long are your arms from center to center?
