I have seen craig perform this excercise. I had the same problem but after the recondition the problem almost vanished which makes sense, a more efficent engine should mean less toxic fumes out the exhaust and therefore less in the cabin.

I use my Zed as a daily and get better economy with Triples 45 Dellortos than i ever did with my old round tops. The only problem is that there is more temptation to open the throttle and hear the triples.

After working on the Mustang i've been inspired to remove colors from the engine bay and paint the airbox satin black. I'll be right back into this build after my holidays.

It was in better condition than my drivers side one so in it went with a seat cover

Have you considered converting to Electronic Distributor and ditching the ballist resistor?

Vacuum Leak? Maybe reset the ecu or does the ecu still think it's an auto and need to be swapped out for a manual version?

I took the 67' Mustang for a Roadworthy and as i suspected it didn't pass but . . . . no rust was to be seen. A new set of tyres, mufflers and some other mechanical do-hickeys and she'll be right to roll. Oh and Dale dropped around so i took him for a quick spin, rubber burning action, the 289 windsor really has some poke. Onto the next project.

The problem with these calipers is the way the mechanisim works for the brake pad wear. Damn hard to wind them suckers back in if they are not clean. Trust me, i was the one with the beads.

Well i've been watching some recent activity and i was comparing post numbers of people who were disagreeing (which is fine to do online if you're into that sort of thing) but i just think that sometimes we take different points of view to enhance discussion and perhaps stimulate a more effective rationality instead of telling one to choke a big one or however you may phrase it which if you attack us as a one you may very well be attacking us as a whole. As a group we are very similar but worlds apart, comments said for whatever reason to offend another online have a less than Zero credability, least we become another blog consumed by hatred from a small minded individual. In short, i have noticed the difference since Rev has left for the states. But honestly i'm not fussed about how many posts but make a donation to the site and i think thats a good commitment. Whoops my bad.

I should've filmed it flaming out when the dizzy was set 180 Degrees out, the motor never came apart but she fired up quick and not a drop from underneath. Couldn't be happier with the result.
