I wouldn't say Everyone shot him down. I took the time to locate the link with the only one on here that i knew had a holden V8 fitted. Took me about 1/2 hr to find and i suggest he contact the member. I'm +1 for the conversion, go for it. As for the language well that's up to the individual if they want to come across like that. Doesn't really help anyone and isn't that what this forum is all about?

Ha! We just viewed this Zed this morning. A good buy for sure. You'll have to check out his trailer as it has the original rims and hupcaps from the 240. I believe this to be a two owner car.

Ahh good squishy, gotta love express post. You'll notice it has a chrome pulley which isn't stock but does suit the belt profile. Either that or you can swap it out with the one off your old one which i would suggest. The old one is on my 120 amp alternator.

Thanks all for the advice. I'm going to fit it with an L28 i have in the garage and if i have problems i'll see what type of gaskets peter has. If only i'll lose a few hrs of labour.

Geez it would be flash to build a seperate panel that bolts in the bumper recess but it may start to look a little Transformery if you get my drift.

Just got one this morning delivered, they suggest using Hylomar Adhesive Spray. Also i have an L28 sitting in the shed which still has the hone marks on the bore and now that i have the gasket i could just pop it in and see what i think.

I still have my reconditioned alternator here. Swapped it out for 120 amp holden unit.
