  1. Actually i can think of anothe "c" word more fitting than that.
  2. Dales doesn't run one and i think it sounds spot on. I'll get a video of the sound and you'll see what i mean. Here's one i took earlier.
  3. The 2.5 was much better. Dales car runs an L28 with extractors, twin hitachis, electronic ignition and an A grind cam from an L24. I run a 2 1/4 but i'll be going to 2.5. Peter Mac said a 3 inch wouldn't be out of the question on mine.
  4. Problem was this Zed was completly under water in Queensland Floods, might help if you do a build threads so people can keep track.
  5. I liked the 2 1/4 on a near stock engine till i heard dales 2.5 system but he runs extractors. Power gains were more than noticable.
  6. I think we could work this out. Bigfella is coming to the next meeting and i'm in Geelong often. I could pick it up at the next meeting and so on.
  7. 15/16 Master cylinder new from the states. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=370480978547&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT
  8. I believe the V8 came from this car which i went and viewed in melbourne.

  11. I can now confirm that there was No problem with air in the system, seems the 'NEW' Master cylinder was faulty and caused all the drama at the end of the day. I replaced it with my old Tokico one and now have a Rock Hard pedal.
  12. They look like Jag Su's on the red zed.
  13. Wow, i only just got home and read this. Thanks Muchly for thr birthday wishes
  14. Either that or you could pop down to the Workshop Day on Sunday, i'll be around the area till monday 'ish. Or just let me know what measuements you need
  15. I have the same manifold on my Zed if you need a measurement.
  16. A. Hand To Hand B. How The Hell C. Hope That Helps Google
  17. Only for bare shells but you may have seen me lift Dales 240Z with an engine crane to a 45 degree. Well this is a bracket i made for the 260Z modeled off the flat plate i used in Dales Car.
  18. Well i reckon i have all the bits. What about the hard brake lines Lurch?
  19. Better ok that last bit with the Big Fella first.
  20. Yes still need the Alloy mate, that would be fabulous Maybe other's can bring bits and we could do a bit of a swap meet. The Ballarat Swap Meet has been cancelled, forever.
  21. If i keep offering my Zed up for workshop days i might be able to get the whole thing finished by the end of the year. The Rear Disc Conversion is really a necessity
  22. Ahhh yep, i used a 240Z manual one in my 260Z Auto.
  23. Lol, i was so going to suggest this. I'm flexible for all weekend (can supply ex girlfriend's numbers for more detailed info) so if it gets changed to Sunday . . . so be it.
  24. I think there is a private forum that exists which is the one that starts where sitting in front of the computer ends. I've been active on the club on allmost every level but one of the greatest advantages for me is receiving feedback on my project, it really inspires me to achieve more and to push through barriers. Having said that Rev's right, there is nothing like a warm handshake from a like minded person and knowing that you have their support not only to do with your ride but with your personal well being to. I think for some of the longer standing member that their is a certain " Street Cred" that we wish newcomers would adhere to but just like sending a drunken 3am text it's easy to come off the wrong way. I know that 3 and 1/2 years ago i was very apprehensive about joining this forum as many of the cars seemed so polished and superior to mine (not so much now) . The value of this club can change your life, i know it mine did.
  25. N42 Cylinder Heads, that name looks familiar. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Datsun-Nissan-L28-N42-Cylinder-Head-/220761517499?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3366696dbb Also see his listing for cranks.
