  5. "I know Lurch has a 4" " Someone, please. I have to admit i have a 4" too. Those 1mm cutting discs are good too.
  6. Some consumables for the list.!?! Grinding and cutting wheels. Sandpaper. Anything else you can think of along these lines.
  7. Hmmm, i'll be busy then
  8. Yes mine too but they are marked differently to the stock one, ipso facto.
  9. I had the Matching numbers engine in 1975 260Z machined and fully rebuilt but now after a year i'm going to put it away. In place will be an L28. Why? Because they are cheap where i live. Really the matching numbers really only comes to play on resale, doesn't it? Other than that the only mod i can't undo is the welded on over riders. Such Is Life!
  10. If bigfella can get the towbar to the next meeting at Sulio's work we'll be good, it's not too far away from him and i have a trusted friend who can drop it off in Geelong. I'll PM you my Mobile
  11. Wish someone would have said " maybe it's the adjustment on the pedal in the cabin" problem solved
  12. Just fitted a 1 inch master cylinder and wondering how others have hooked them up as the rear brake reservoir is the one closest to the firewall which is the other way around on the stock 7/8.
  13. I have tried a new cap. I'm pretty sure its the neck.
  14. Sulio used to do a lot of the Video Work.
  15. You can use the standard brackets and just cut them down. I'll take a picture. On the same topic i put new kits in the rears and a Brand new 1 inch Master Cylinder but i still only have half a pedal. The Nipples *giggles* are on the bottom on the R31's and i suspect that the air is not getting out. With the old 7/8 it would pump up good but then lose all pressure.
  16. Thats what im thinking. I contacted the company that i bought it from but i think the fitting is too short and when the cap is fitted correctly there is no movement in there. Just wanted to hear from others with an aftermarket radiator.
  17. It doesn't overheat it's just pressure. It runs on half all the time. As to when the pressure occurs, i don't have a psi gauge hooked up to it so i don't know.
  18. I still think that at some point the pressure should be released. The cylinder head is not leaking.
  19. Sierra Charlie Oscar Oscar Tango Alpha, Any and all of the above. Maybe bodywork welding. Perhaps we could get some video and do a bit of a Overhaulin Type show?
  20. It's not releasing at any pressure It's a 13lbs cap There are no bubbles.
  21. Yes it has.
  22. My Cooling system keeps pressurising and blowing heater cores. It's the second one i've blown now but i have one more left to try and i think i'll change to a ceramic heater. It's only happened since i put in the new aluminium radiator, any ideas what might be causing this.?!
  23. Any rust repair? I can bring another welder!!
  24. I have a front tray here that needs a bit of panel beating but you're welcome to it. Either that or i can make you a template. http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php/topic,5828.45.html Check down the page about half way. Scoota
  25. We found a very easy way of modifying the handbrake, if you shorten the stock R31 handbrake Bracket and bolt by 50% and use right Caliper on right side, left on left, the Handbrake hooks up in almost a stock Position. The bracket is a bit thick and also the hole is a bit small. A little grinding and you're ready to rock. Dimitri's also has another way of hooking it up which we should get a photo of. I just got a 1 Inch Master today so i'll fit that and we'll do a write up.
