  1. Yes a sad day indeed, he was by all accounts univserally well liked and one of the nicest guys in the paddock. RIP
  2. With mine i just have one of the adjusters in the ashtray and when i go to the track it takes 2 seconds to make an adjustment. I would think for a road car once a suitable setting has been found it is set and forget.
  3. Dave I had a similar problem when I installed my MCA's and when I contacted Josh he said to remove the top adjuster like in your pic and I was then able to shut the bonnet without any problems. When I compare your 2nd pic to my attached it seems like the black centre part and nut sits higher than mine even allowing for a different angle of the photograph. Taking out the thickness of the alloy bracket in mine I feel the three mounting studs would be about the same length which do not foul my bonnet. It is a shame to halt your progress, hopefully it can be rectified without too much delay. Regards, Geoff
  4. So sad to hear of the accident in Italy involving Nicky Hayden, latest reports don't seem to optimistic but we can only hope. Its crazy to think that racing a motorcycle at often insane speeds is safer than riding a cycle on the road! There have been too many accidents lately with Champion Italian cyclist Michele Scarponi recently being killed in a training accident and Chris Froome knocked off his back by a driver who drove onto the footpath to hit him and then didn't stop. What are these car drivers thinking, obviously not much! Please take care! Geoff
  5. Hi Gav, I haven't used them but a few years ago when restoring my old motorcycle I used these people to clean up the alloy engine parts and carburetor which came up like new. They were very easy to deal with, for info only I have no affiliation with them. http://www.xtremefuelsystems.com.au/
  6. Gordon you forgot to mention it has aircon as well?
  7. Fuel rail SOLD to Gav the collector! ITG Air cleaner Price reduction $375!
  8. Hi Gav, That wouldn't be a problem. If it helps I will be going to the Historics at PI the weekend after next if there was someone who could collect it for you. Otherwise PM the address and I can post it.
  9. These items were purchased by me but I have gone down a different path and they are now surplus to my requirements. Both items are unused, the ITG filter is 65mm deep so will not suit long velocity stacks. The aluminium base plate is blank as supplied and needs holes to be cut to suit your carb setup. For some unknown reason I can't upload pics to this post it seems to load and then says 'Update skipped Error 500??' So I have uploaded links to the same products from the web. ITG Filter PRICE REDUCTION - $375 http://www.fuelsaver.com.au/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=250&category_id=2&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=3 http://www.fuelsaver.com.au/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=282&category_id=2&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=3 Fuel rail $100 - SOLD Geoff
  10. I originally used a piece of 2mm stainless cut to shape with heat resistant cloth stuck to the underside and bolted to the underside of the webers. Later I used 3 of these which are available for $30 each from Bits of Italy in Melbourne. http://www.boiperformance.com.au/cold-air-box-intake-
  11. Hi Dave, I have attached a phone shot of an SW diff mount. Cheers, Geoff OOPS!! I have made several attempts and the shot won't load, probably my inferior computer skills!! I will try and sort it out.
  12. PM sent
  13. Similar to nizmOzed I changed my belts a few years ago in my 74 260 and used these Klippan brand which have done the job pretty well. Not sure if they are still available!
  14. A couple of the WA guys.

  23. Scoota, It is a while ago and these brakes were fitted to a 240Z I purchased at the time, however with 240 hubs they had an 8mm (I think from memory) spacer between the hub and the disc hat. When I fitted them to my 260Z I didn't need the spacer. This was with the Hilux caliper with the different size pistons. Geoff
  24. Speak to Stewart Wilkins he has access to a kit from europe for the Z, although I am not sure about a Z31.
