Get used to that smell Fu.. The reason you van smell it is because the aero-dynamics of the 240 suck the air into the cabin from the back of the car. Your best bet to get rid of it I reckon is to use a downpipe at the tip or have your exhaust tip coming out to the side... I've got all new rubbers on my car and I still get some sick fumes inside the car... -

oh sulio dont bring back those painful memories of having my calipers on upside down and bleeding my brakes 4 times before i realised... the tears are coming back now.. -

yeah just undo the nuts dude. there are studs into the block if i remember correctly. cant remember if your intake manifold has to also come off... either way just replace the intake/exhaust gasket and re-tighten your nuts up to touque specified in your manual.

My old cheese got her 2 seater dash done there in the last few months. She said it was $450 if you took the guages out, or $500 of you left them in. You have to rate their work though.. it was a terrible dash and it now looks like brand new.

Any zed wreckers for flywheel? I bought one for $75 a few weeks ago coz mine was destroyed. Or you can of course buy on from nissan for $470.

good point. LMAO. see us youngsters forget everything haha. go for the $800 evan, your first instincts are always right, and that was mine lol, i just couldn't remember it. i could seriously use the cash, i might sell mine now that I know how much they are going for. but, I did buy a set of 240 carbs in decent nick with manifold and everything to bolt on for about $150 about 3-4 months ago. I think I coulda been exaggerating with that $800 just coz I couldn't find any at the time.

My old man is 6 foot 6 and he drives my 240 easy and its stock interior. I wanted a zed ever since the bus got stuck on a dirt road during a school camp to the grampians, and while we were waiting a 240 almost killed us while he was drifting round one of the blind corners. Bought mine when I was 16 and had it ready for my 18th birthday.

do you have the details eg jet sizes and that? ive been looking for someone with a similiar set up to me to see if i could get some approximate settings but the ones I have got are hopeless. I've got a warm L24.

Haha yeah I wish it was only "a little more" for dyno time. The last joint I rang up quoted me $1200 to set up tripples on the dyno. But yes Modular9 I would definately recommend that if you have the leftover cash to get them tuned professionally then do it, before your carbs make you lose your enthusiasm for your zed.

the ones that do dumb shit are fully sick muzzas or bogans. there is no such thing as a fully sick bogan. and you're right, the petition is pointless, i think the best way to solve this problem is to jail anybody who hangs out at 24 hour maccas.
