Mums just bought a 2seater with imacculate bodywork. Unfortunately I dont think she'd be down with this.

well basically, im looking at this for my mums 260 2seater http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=018&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=280092267147&rd=1&rd=1 but im not sure if it will fit or not, the seller doesnt seem to have much of a clue.

the rear tail light assembly. are they the same on 260 2seaters as on 2+2's?

that switch indicated is a blank. ive ended up putting the switch for my aerial on there.

its my thread and it deserves to be jacked! but my old lady was willing to go up2 500 for that...she doesnt think another one is ever going to come up. i was expecting more like 350. only missed out on getting it because my exact bid came in a second too late. but if anyone knows of any similiar consoles around, or people to contact, please let me know.

where would i find a new one for that sort of price? im looking at one on ebay atm for my mum, and thats at 300. good deal?

Just wondering if there were any differences between coupe and 2+2 consoles, or manual and auto consoles on the 260's. Also, what would be an average price for a brand new console?

yes, it can get expensive, trust me lol. western suburbs mentality: always budget for a system.

yeah, 6x9's are great if you arnt running subs. Ive also seen some nice boxes made to fit into the rear corners of zeds. Decided to go for a custom box to mount both amps, crossovers and rear 6's in mine. leaves very little room for the soccer kit but wot can you do? Just a tip tho, if you're looking at front splits, I highly recomend the JVC ones ive got. Ive also got a few mates with them as well, and they really do pump clearly at high vol.

yeah, it does start to hurt your head if you pump it for long enough. but its worth it

Just thought I would post some pics of my sound system, in case it gives anyone in the club ideas or inspirartion for their own car.
