thanks for that mr camoflage, i wasnt sure about may of those....it clears up a lot. Yes my mum does love her cars...she helped me with ALL the work on my car as she is a design engineer with Ford....she does the mechanicals of the AC in falcon and territory. So since my car is nearing completion...she decided to look for somthing else..and as there are no corvette stingrays sitting around, she decided to go for a 260 2 seater which i think was a real bargain for 3500 and no rust. how does the value of 260 2 seaters compare with that of 240's? and are parts easier to come by or similiar due to the similarities with the 240? And yes....i think i am the only 240 owner still on their L's! Cheers, Jack

My mum just bought a '75 260 2 seater as a project car..... I was just wondering what differences there were between this and my 240? I'm aware of the different: Engine capacity Exhaust system Console TailLights AC? Retractible Seatbelts? TailLight Surrounds? Bonnet? Speedo? Hatch Struts? Any help on this would be appreciated. If anyone is interested in what the car looks like...it is the yellow 260 on carsales...or was on carsales..not sure. definately a bargain tho i think....wish it was mine! Cheers, Jack

yeah....sorry huw...didnt realise that was you...awesome car tho...mines pretty similiar and i just didnt click lol. That white 240 was very nice i thought, nice and low and very good exterior but the interior was disappointing, the sound of it as it left was also a little disappointing. I thought the height of the white zed really set it off, but i think im just in love with low zeds because mines sitting at 70 mm lol.

did anyone else go there today? i was there...but the car is in for the roadworthy. Saw Sulio's car and the red 2+2 with the molded bumpers...craig lovegrove i think...but i didnt recognise anyone as i havent been to a meet yet. There were some very nice examples of zed restorations tho...definately worth the look on the way back from skoolies.

I'm not after a massive performance, otherwise I would have bought a later car, so the noise of a V8 is the go for me once I get off my P's, thats after I get my P's, so long to wait. So after seeing the video of the midnight blue supercharged 350 going around the net a few years ago, my votes 4 the small block chev. Although I'm open for convincing. Cheers, JP.

I'e never been 1 for comics, dont think ive ever read 1. But with drawings that good of a zed i would definately give it a read. Great idea van, super sketch, keep us informed about the progress. Look forward to seeing it on the site in the future, could attract more zed enthusiasts. Cheers, JP.
