Guys I'm in need of a RHS origonal mirror for a 260 2seater. Should be the same as a 240 one. If anyone has one, or knows of one for sale, or knows where to buy one brand new or second hand please let me know asap!! Does anyone know if any Nissan Dealerships sell them still? I've tried a couple.. This is pretty important as the project cant go any further until I get this part... Cheers guys, Jack.

Yeah its true you hae to find the right buyer, but we can't always wait with our zeds on the market for 12 months waiting for the right buyer to come along.. All im saying is that from my perspective as a recent seller, people arnt even prepared to pay that much for a car that has been restored back to original. And it looks as though that car still has a little mechanical restoration to come.

Would be surpirised if he got that price, considering what I sold mine for.. That engine looks as though it hasnt been restored with the rest of the car, although the interior does look neat.

Yeah my mate had a clean record, unlinke myself, and wrote a letter saying how it was his first offence and that he didnt see the speed sign... they let him off with a warning.

Steering Wheel Restoration or replacement for Zed's

I would like to know also, what is the diameter of the stock 240 steering wheel? Want to upgrade my aftermarket steering wheel (smaller diameter), to one that is roughly the same diameter as the factory one. Cheers Sach When you want to get rid of that steering wheel, let me know. -

Plus rotary's sound like arse.. My rx7 isnt replacing the hole in my heart left by a certain hot 240z running tripples..

tune your tripples, as it will be fouling plugs.. cooked one plug about a month before I got rid of it... although that didnt stop the car from revving, maybe 2 of your plugs have fouled?

My 260 2 seater has that footrest on the passenger side... I thought it was aftermarket. Has anyone else seen these around much?

Yeah buy a GTR like i did after I sold the 240. Wank factor skyrocketed after selling the 240, but it leaves the classics for dead.

Yeah you can pick up an rb25 gearbox for well under a grand.

Ah yeah I figured that was around the heater core, but I think its only a connector and not the whole core... Good luck.

Huh? Mine was much darker than Lurch's until I sold it to a young gentleman by the name of Sach, and now his 240 is much darker than Lurch's... Nearly cried when I saw it the other day and I wasnt driving it lol.

It won't break again if you weld it properly with the seat off. I did a temp fix trying not to burn the seat, that I thought was enough to hold it, apparently not. Pull the seat and weld it up, perhaps weld another sheet underneath and drill through it where the seat bolts through.

Sach, that split about 6 months ago and i welded it up because the seat was moving and squeaking. If its doing it again you should probably go and get it welded as it fixed it last time. Unfortunately I couldn't weld it too well as I cbf'd taking out the seat to do so.

Would hardly say its been out in the dark as it was my daily driver for a year.. I guess it hasnt really seen much of the eastern suburbs but most of the westside know about it. Good to see you're enjoying it Sach, just dont drive it past me because I'll probably cry lol.
