I've never heard of that type of sill being available.
Whats to stop you fabbing up the ends yourself? - It's not that difficult...
BTW, it's best to call AllZparts - they rarely respond to emails...
I've heard good things about Daniel Moore too.
Don't go near Steve Newing - I've driven 2 SU equipped Zed's that he's tuned & they ran like utter CRAP!
Yeah, It's all down to personal taste.
JP, that's bad luck mate
Hopefully you'll be able to make it to a summer meeting & we can compare.
Though it's possible the camera makes it look darker then it really is...
I picked it out of the colour chart - I wanted something a bit lighter then the old colour.
It's 'Protech FH65' colour - that's all I know
Cheers for the comments guys
Haha, Thanks George.
No I didn't paint it myself - I got my local panel shop/mate to spray it.
Thanks Koopa.
I'm (personally) not a fan of matching the rear light panel with the body colour.
I'll be getting it repainted Charcoal, shortly.
Apart from a couple of minor blemishes that will be attended to after I reassemble the car,
it's come out GREAT!
No comes reassembly... I'm just wondering how far to go with it now
Welcome!
Sounds like you have a tidy ride - got any pics to post up?
(BTW, please remember this is an Australian based site, so some info may be different to Canada...)
Enjoy!
Hi All,
We are currently in the VERY early stages of planning another Weekend away in November.
Dates are most likely to be: 10th & 11th of November.
Make sure you can attend this weekend in full - Don't miss out!
There will be some AWESOME roads to be had!
Come along to the next VicZCar meeting at:
5/54 Howleys Rd (last factory), Notting Hill (Melway's Map Ref: 70 G9).
Time: 7:00pm.
Drinks & food (yet to be decided) will be suppled(?).
Don't hold your breath Scott...
I'm prob. not going to be able to make it now - the painter has been slow to get my Zed done.
That won't leave me enough time to prep the car before the event...
Geometry has nothing to do with it Steff
The only thing you'd have to make sure is that you get the threaded tube in the right position
so you can get a reasonable amount of height adjustment.
Also, TIG welding on the threaded collar would be the preferred method of attachment
