  1. Welcome to the forum
  2. There were four in there that were my favorite. Did you notice the dash on the convertible? It looks terrible
  3. This is all I have. I do have some from the 2006 show..but pretty much the same cars.
  4. A few more pictures here!!
  5. This last weekend was the annual Datsun/Nissan Show & Shine. Saturday was the Autocross racing and Sunday was the show & shine. I took a few pictures. I'm in the process of adding more but until then.. enjoy these!
  6. I was reading an article the other day about the story of Datsun 240/260/280. It mentioned that the 260Z had an optional Power Steering It mentions it towards the end of the article when they are talking about the 260Z. http://auto.howstuffworks.com/datsun-sports-cars2.htm Is that true. Has anybody actually attempted to put in "Power steering" into a car that did not have it? I've seen a few old Chevy trucks with that modification.
  7. The Z store sells them but I wouldn't buy them there. Rip off http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/WWC18/25-1162 Also, I think they have the wrong information on the Z store. If you want that exact wheel with the double lip, you can ONLY get that in the 15x8 Low ET. My brother wanted that in the 15x7 with the 0 offset but right before we ordered them, we found out that the 15x7 in Sportmax 02 looks COMPLETELY different. 15x7 is NOT available in the 0 offset therefore making it look nothing like that wheel you see in the picture. If I remember correctly, I bought them for just under $400. I'll confirm the price though. ps... these wheels are VERY popular with the Scion XB. All the Scion owners seem to purchase this particular wheel. http://www.clubxb.com/forums/f24/1055-sport-max-racing-15x8-0-offset-7/

  9. Getting orange peels sucks. It's turning out pretty good. The roof, hood, and front fenders are good. Door and rear quarter panels need some work. Sorry for no close up pictures. I'll get around do it soon. Although the roof and hood are looking good, the buffer is still causing some "swivels"?? Too powerful??
  10. Keep in mind, you have to be SUPER SUPER careful because it can get dirty very easily with a white interior. If your gut feeling says to go for it.... then go for it
  11. Welcome. Any pics of your whip?
  12. I personally either like deep dish rims with an old school look or modern look. I'm not a fan of stock wheels. The pictures below are for my brothers Datsun 510 Project but it seems to be moving along so slowly that I might take them from him?? Not too sure though. They are Sportmax 02's Gunmetal. 15x8 with 0 offset (Centercap not pictured) The measuring tape says 15x9 but maybe there is a different method for determining the width.
  13. White could look good. It depends on the exterior color and also the carpeting. The picture I have attached is a pretty clean look. This one cost $3,000 US for the entire interior.
  14. I hope thats photoshoped!! :o I noticed that the back window has been welded over as well.
  15. Oh right, we didn't sand it down to bare metal as that would be too much work and this is only a temporary paint job. We did it in the underground parking. The first four coats were not all that great. We didn't have the proper lighting and therefore there were a lot of lines in the paint job. The 5th and 6th coat went on very nicely actually. We had the proper equipment and the previous coats were a little too thin. The 6th coat went on about 24 hours ago. We are going to be doing a final wet sand tomorrow and then buffer it. We might skip the buffering if we find that we may need another coat. I will post pictures of the 6th coat, and then the wet sanding, as well as the final results.
