    L28T build

Just got off the phone to Peter. It's run in & it just made 450FWHP at 1bar Now Pete's going to put some boost into it...!
  2. Dat2kman holding attitude, exiting Turn 4:
  3. Topic Stickied - thanks for the write up Paul!
  4. Craig/Gordo - set a date now. Datsun owners are notoriously unorganized!
  5. +1 for Ramada - it's Willy Wonka approved! Any idea as to event pricing yet Alan?
  6. It was an interesting thing to build, I'll say that much... These can be custom built for any application, so if you want one let me know
  7. Bit of stand-off there mate...
  8. Z31 300ZX is the shorter insert that is used front & rear on early Zedd. It's about 25mm shorter. If you get new Koni's they (normally) supply you with a set of their progressive rate bump stops as well.
  9. Riiiiight... I haven't heard that one before...
  10. Call Cory Worthington for some idea's?
  11. Looks great Dave. Is it For Sale yet?
  12. Saturday night pissup at my place if anyone is interested...?!
  13. The problem there is that Jason does not know how to get the in-car footage from the camera to Youtube!
  14. PM Sent.
  15. All the post '75 260Z radiators are the same.
  16. It can be done with the car jacked up on Axel stands, but it's a prick of a job doing it upside down. On a 240Z/early260Z, Full new 1.6mm Zincseal rails from the front of the footwells back to up under boot floor crossmember, is around the $1000 mark fitted & painted, if the car in not on a rotisserie. Add another $500 for a post '75 260Z or 2+2 as the rails are a PITA to make & fit... Robbie - get a light under the car & take some photo's of the rails. Pictures speak a thousand words
  17. Which ones? 240Z or 260Z? There is a difference...
  18. Lets see... Brad in the 350Z got pinged 10 penataly laps in the first session for breaking out of his target time. Dave1600 had ignition troubles but got it sorted for his second stint. Lee Falkner blew a head gasket in his 240Z in the early arvo, and not long after Jason (Dat2kman) killed a valve spring in his 280Z - it now back at Les & Pete's being repaired for next weekends Historic Winton. I have no idea of the results however...!
  19. Thanks for the heads on on it Paul I'm going to add it to the shopping list...
  20. First half of next year for that other job to be finished, I reckon. When are you moving back to the Farm...?
  21. Since you asked so nicely Chris Diff is in & we are looking at finalizing the panhard rod mounting soon. Wheels on. We now need to tip & roll the arches back, as well as get the porta-power out to move the arches out some 30mm, so the tyres will clear. Type 9 5-speed: Tunnel cap removed to make room for the larger T9 box. I've since cut the tunnel further back & re-plated the tunnel brace. We've since found the works style headers fowl the engine crossmember. Upon asking Burton in the UK, they informed us we need to use a 'World Cup' crossmember - but nothing was mentioned about then when the headers were ordered! Getting there slowly though.
  22. Unreal! You have a SMS, G-man!
  23. So you're going to build a performance L6 while being a tightarse? Pardon me while I...
  24. BUMP. Price drop to $100!
