Ok we are all go for my racecar. I got a trade plate from my Dad so we should be ok Was hoping to get a few people to follow me to the club meet though so if you are commoing from anywere near Cheltenham would be great if you could come via my place?? I think Sulio is going to but would be good to get a few cars so if I do get and police attention its easier to explain that we are all going to the meeting together etc Ash

Hi All After a new 7/8 master cylinder. I know I can probably get one from a brake place (or get mine fixed) but any suggestions on best place to get one that doesnt charge through the roof in Melbourne Thanks Ash

Do you mean the right strut itself is bigger diam? I think the 260z struts were bigger diam?? Manybe it was changed? Ash

thats strange then as I ran a bmw ballancer on my l28 race motor and it had a std l28 crank and never broke it?? Sounds like you have done all the right things?? Ash

Ok I have a new fav past time. Sanding down the resin on carbon overlay bonnet Anyway here are the latest pics. got the road tyres fitted and had a drive down the court today. fells very different to the old car! Ash

HI Do you run the std harmonic ballancer? Do you do and sprints/ track days? Does it always brake in the same place? How do the bearings look when you take them out? Ash

I rekon a min of 10k but prob a fair bit more. There is a fair bit of work and you also need eng. cert if you are going full reg. Ash

Must be getting air from somewhere??? You may have done this but check your seal between manifold and head, carbies and monifold. double check that the line to brake booster is not leaking. Also check the chokes on the dellautos are definatly closed as I think they can stick and even if the lever is all the way back it can still not be at zero(internal sticking) Also are the plugs really wet if you take them out after running it. Is it backfiring?. Thats all I can come up with of the top of my head. Ash

Whats your fuel pressure running at?? Sound like you might have to much and thats why they are flooding. from memory you need something like 4psi nut do a search on hte net to be sure. Ash

HI That full carbon bonnet is technically not full carbon as you can see the CSM on the back. Still looks really nice though. Ash -

I am pretty sure you dont need an eng cert on CH plates but I could be wrong. Ash

Yer I dont need eng report for the CH plates. If you are in car club that has the vicroads/Cams requirments you just need a letter from the secretary of the club and thats about it the other option is to get a RW cert but I think that would be a little tricky (unless you know someone Ash

Ok quick update Got the turbo box in and sent the tailshaft off to be shortened. Hoping to weld up gearbox mount and fit it this weekend. Got all my guages fitted and working in the car. Starts with the push of the button Got to send the wheels off to get the road tyres fitted soon and by then should have the tailshaft back and be able to put it on the ground and finish of all the little things. Then its just getting the club reg and going for a cruise Ash
