I hate you for not selling this 6 months earlier

I've had one for just over 2 years, I bought it shortly after I talked to you about them - a blue jap spec r with the b package off a guy i worked with who had bought it purely for looks - sik bro I've put it up for sale on a couple of sites on the higher end of the price scale expecting it not to sell, as it needs a good clean and I'm going away for a month the end of this week, so will deal with it after i get back I'm just hoping my zed is as fun when i get it back on the road

I've also got one incase anyone else is looking or that sale falls through

3000% in agreeance with you there! if it was a spec s or jap spec r i'd probably be trying to jump on all the removable panels as I'm wanting to sell my car and some doosh recently swiped my front right panel, the bonnet has too many stone chips etc etc, but can't really see it being worth the effort with the skirts and different badges, and distance. it took me 'buying' 4 lhs fenders before i found a genuine seller instead of "bro i'm taking it off next week, i'll give you a buzz" - the best experience i had involved the seller standing on the fender in front of me

the dates you're in melb are basically exactly the date's i'm not! hope you can get your car running smoothly for the time you're around

where abouts can you buy it from? ie shops in Australia or easiest to just buy it over the net? Is it still slip resistant (within reason) when wet?

I'm needing a replacement for one of the window water jets, and would also love some new wiper blade arms along with the other parts. Maybe i should pm you a new list

that was about the only question zx i could think of that's fortunately completely irrelevent for z owners I like your zx and have no issue with you being a member, and as 280's share the same engine it makes sense for you guys to be included off topic - I saw a 944 being retrimed at a place with brand new velour in the factory style and it actually looked really nice

I know I'd love to own every zed released in 2 seater form (z31 as a 200zr), and there will be differences between them and what market they were trying to reach, hence this discussion. It's a fact that the target market changed, and sucks that it changed so much they decided to not import 2 seaters for so long. I think a debate about what this 'club' isn't what is really being discussed, and anyone who wants to hang around can hang around in my experiance (datsun roadsters, 280zx's, gtr's and silvias), however it is an S30 club at heart, that was the point of it to seperate it from the clubs that already existed? and the technical knownledge found on this site should stick to being primarily about s30's, not "where can i find red velour?" type stuff

housemate isn't home yet sorry, prob won't get a chance to look at it until sometime over the weekend I've got FD seats in my car so the best i'll be able to do is tell you if they look roughly the same. There's a chance he'll know if fd seats are a bolt in fit to FC's and therefore you'll have your answer as stated above

Thanks, the main reason I ask is I can get a V8 radiator out of a vb for basically free, however i don't have any of the mounting brackets for it, so might need to visit a wrecker to see how its done and grab the bits if only it wasn't so hot!

Hey guys, I'm after the brackets that bolt to the motor allowing it to be hooked up to a crane as i don't have them and would like to use them My mechanic mate is telling me to just make up my own with some thick plate, but obviously i'd prefer to have the real bits

I'm wondering if anyone has experience/pictures of how they have mounted radiators from v8 commodores into zed's. I've heard of these being used a couple of times so am hoping for some pointers

or couldn't you just buy some 3m or equivilant translucent orange contact and stick it on the outside?

My stock master cylinder leaks a bit, and I've bought a 1" for use with whatever brake upgrade ends up happening but as thats awhile off, i'm wondering if there's any real issue with using the larger master cylinder in in the mean time with just the stock brakes I assume the pedal will have about 25% less travel as it has roughly 25% more area? or is this not how it works? Cheers

are the brakes ready to bolt onto a zed, or do they still need some mods?

i personally dont see the point in sticking an sr20 in a zed when silvia's/180's are so cheap, and seems like a waste of all that engine bay space

Your twin exhaust system (and entire car) is going to be rather nice Thanks Maygz, I've come across that document before but can't see any reference in it at all regarding the exhaust exit location (except for saying direct entry into the occupant compartment is not allowed), and as Candy33 hinted at, would it be taken as a verticle line down from the further rear opening?
