Corsa224 Posted November 12, 2012 Author Posted November 12, 2012 After hours of searching and talking to people who would didnt understand what the hell i was talking about, here's proof there are two different types of 260z 2+2 quater window assembleys a early and a later one. Any Ideas where I can get part number 2 for the newer style? Quote
benny Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 see here for part numbers- http://www.carpartsmanual.com/datsunS30/DatsunZIndex/Body260Z280Z/22/BodySideTrimWindow/FromJul75/tabid/1820/Default.aspx Quote
Aliangus Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 your car is coming along nicely Chris. If you can't find the watherstrip as a stand alone part, have a look in the parts for sale section - StMok is trying to sell a couple of sets of complete rear windows - that may get you what you need? Quote
peter t Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 You are right Chris. Mine is 75, parts car was 76, and my mates car was late 76. I think from memory his is the same as yours which is totally different from mine. However I have two older style windows if they are any good to you assuming they will fit. The newer style has different sealing rubbers etc where I think the older style works better. After all who opens these up much anyway. Most newer cars have these rear windows fixed. Hope this helps. Corsa224 Posted December 17, 2012 Author Posted December 17, 2012 and a few more, Seems the orange colors changes depending on the camera angle from a milky orange to a bright orange. Cant wait to see it in the sun Quote
